The club is now recruiting an assistant analyst, an exciting development opportunity that would suit enthusiastic analysts or recent graduates in sports science or a related area looking to gain practical experience within a leading professional rugby club.
The assistant analyst will help to provide analysis support to the Saints’ teams, assist in the filming of training and matches, and contribute to the delivery of additional analysis support services under the direction of the head of analysis.
The successful candidate must have experience of using Apple products, and a working knowledge of video analysis software and associated packages.
There are also two internship positions within the Saints’ performance department.
A strength and conditioning internship will see the successful candidate work as directed and assist with the integration of strength and conditioning into the overall rugby programme, while gaining invaluable experience and expertise within a leading professional rugby club.
A sport science internship will assist with the integration of sports science into the overall rugby programme, working closely and contributing to a team of strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists and the club’s nutritionist, gathering and analysing screening and GPS data, and actively seeking to incorporate best practice and current research from all sports science disciplines.
