Northampton Saints and Michael Jones Jeweller have joined forces for the remainder of the season to offer supporters and players alike the chance to win fantastic prizes each month.
Voting is now open for the ‘Michael Jones Jeweller Player of the Month’ prize for December, with supporters able to vote for the Saint they believe made the biggest contribution on the field during that time period.
The competition will remain open for one week before the winning player is announced by Northampton Saints and Michael Jones, with a prizegiving ceremony taking place for the winning player at Franklin’s Gardens when the men in Black, Green and Gold take on London Irish on January 24th (kick-off 7.45pm).
Michael Jones are also offering a special prize for those that vote for the award; one lucky supporter who votes for their Player of the Month will be selected at random and win a £50 voucher to spend in store.
December was a topsy-turvy month for Chris Boyd’s side, with Saints coming up twice against Irish powerhouses Leinster in the Heineken Champions Cup before going down away at Sale Sharks in the Premiership.
But Northampton ended 2019 in style with a thrilling victory over Gloucester Rugby at Franklin’s Gardens to stay second in the league standings heading into the new year.
And from the four matches over the course of the month, Saints’ coaches have nominated Dan Biggar, Mikey Haywood, Ehren Painter and Taqele Naiyaravoro for their outstanding performances.
PLEASE NOTE: Only one vote per entrant will be counted.
