That fixture, under the Gardens lights, will be followed by the visit of Gloucester, before a pre-Christmas East Midlands derby at Leicester.
A third home tie of the campaign comes in Round 4 against Worcester, while a trip to Sale will round off the Northern Conference in March.
The late start to the season means a late finish to the Aviva ‘A’ League, with the knockout stages taking place in late April and the final scheduled for Monday, May 2nd.
