Archie McParland signed on for Northampton Saints’ Senior Academy ahead of the 2023/24 season after impressing in the Club’s Academy pathway. 

Originally joining Saints’ Academy set-up as a fly-half, McParland converted to No.9 in his Under-15s season and has kicked on ever since – being capped by England at Under-18s level.

The scrum-half debuted for Saints the season before signing his first professional contract, first donning the Black, Green and Gold shirt against London Irish in the Premiership Rugby Cup to become the Club‘s youngest Saint of the professional era (17 years and 222 days old). 

McParland has also experienced international honours, featuring for England Under-20s – including at the 2024 World Rugby U20 Championship.
