Craig Wright joined Northampton Saints’ Senior Academy on a full-time basis ahead of the 2022/23 season, putting pen to paper on his first professional contract in April 2022.

The hooker was part of the Club’s Under-18s side which reached the final of Premiership Rugby’s Academy League during the 2021/22 campaign.

Co-captain at Felstead School, Wright also played his junior club rugby for Braintree RFC and has earned international honours with England Under-18s after joining the Junior Academy as an Under-13 player in the Suffolk Developing Player Programme.
