Hooker Craig Wright celebrated his 18th birthday in style by signing his first professional contract with Saints the day beforehand, joining Northampton Saints’ Senior Academy ahead of the 2022/23 season. 

Co-captain at Felstead School, Wright also played his junior club rugby for Braintree and has earned international honours with England Under-18s after joining the Junior Academy as an Under-13 player in the Suffolk DPP.

After making his senior debut for Saints a season after signing on, starting in Northampton’s season opener at Ealing Trailfinders in the Premiership Rugby Cup. 

Wright has also experienced international honours, representing England at both Under-19s and Under-20s level – including the 2024 World Rugby U20 Championship.
