Harlequins vs Northampton Saints

Quins maul from the lineout but get held up and are forced to use it. The ball comes loose but the referee says play on and Skosan boots the ball dead under pressure. Scrum Quins on Saints' five metre line. 

Furbank clears to touch from the back of the scrum. Lineout Quins back near halfway. 

Waller returns to the field as Auterac makes way while we set the scrum.

Knock on from Quins at the lineout and though Furbank tries to run it from deep eventually we come back for a scrum. 

Final change for Saints as Tuala replaces Sleightholme while we set the lineout.m 

Penalty Quins at the scrum as it comes down after a few resets. Northmore sends it to touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Saints come forwards quickly off the lineout and Sleightholme breaks free down the right but as the ball comes back the other way, Saints can't keep hold of it and Quins will have the scrum inside their own half. 

Saints push Quins into touch from the restart and Saints will have the lineout. 

Care clears from the scrum but Furbank is isolated as he takes the high back and Quins get over it to earn a penalty. Edwards points to the posts. 

But the ball comes forwards in contact as they works towards the halfway line and Quins will have the scrum. 

Lawes is up for the lineout and Biggar boots it downfield. Marchant is there and Quins play on but good pressure from Saints forces Care to send it high. It's scrappy under the high ball though and aerial tennis ensues before Saints come forwards. 

Solid at the scrum and Saints come forwards quickly through Dingwall. Mitchell sends it high but Green is back there to mark it and he sends it downfield for a Saints lineout back in their own half. 

Quins try to maul from the lineout but Saints hold firm and force them to use it. Quins begin to push in the midfield but good pressure from Saints sees them knock on. Scrum Saints.

Saints steal the lineout and Mitchell darts forwards off the back of it before Biggar sends it to touch. Marchant takes the lineout quickly though and Quins are awarded a penalty at the breakdown too as Saints a deemed to have not rolled away. Edwards puts it into the corner. 

Fish replaces Matavesi as we set the lineout.

Ludlam scoops up the ball as it comes free of the scrum but the penalty goes Quins' way and Edwards sends it to touch for a lineout just inside Saints' 22. 

Quins come forwards from the lineout but knock the ball on in contact and Saints come forwards. The ball comes wide quickly to Furbank and Skosan but it comes forwards as it heads back inside. Scrum Quins.

Waller and Ratuniyarwa make way as we set the lineout, with Auterac and Coles taking their places. 

Saints a penalised for not rolling just off the scrum though and Edwards puts it into touch for a lineout.

Solid at the scrum this time but Saints knock the ball on just after and Quins will have the scrum this time. 

Free kick Saints at the scrum and they choose the scrum again.

Quins fumble the restart and Saints will have the scrum just outside the Quins 22. 

No conversion from Edwards out wide and Augustus is replaced by Wood as we restart.

Saints steal the lineout and come forwards before chipping over the top. And the away side look like they're over the ball too but Quins play on. 

Saints intercept of the back of the lineout and Biggar charges forwards before finding Hutchinson. The centre makes it up to the halfway line before finding Furbank. But the fullback is isolated and is pushed into touch. Lineout Quins just inside their own half. 

Saints come forwards quickly from the lineout and Ratuniyarawa breaks through with Hutchinson on his shoulder. He charges forwards but Quins strip the ball in the tackle and come forwards themselves. They earn a penalty at the breakdown too and send it to touch for a lineout on Saints' 22 this time.

Knock on from Quins at the scrum but there's some afters and the referee awards Saints the penalty. Biggar sends it to touch for a lineout back near halfway. 

Quins push forwards off the lineout and have an advantage coming as Saints begin to push them back in defence. A break from Edwards sees Quins make it into Saints' 22 but eventually we come back for the advantage. Edwards puts the ball into the corner. 

Solid at the scrum from Saints and Quins are forced to use the ball. They make some ground in the midfield but Saints' defence holds them there. Edwards dinks the ball over the top but Mitchell is back there and he clears well. Lineout Quins back on halfway.

Saints take the restart and maul forwards but when it comes down the referee awards Quins the scrum. 

Lawes takes the lineout and finds Ribbans to truck it into Quins' 22. Saints keep pushing, patiently edging closer. And Saint are awarded a penalty as Quins deliberately knock the ball on when they come forwards. Biggar points to the posts. 

Good defence from Saints at the lineout and eventually they're rewarded for their efforts with a breakdown penalty. Biggar puts it to touch for a lineout just outside the Quins 22. 

Quins tap back their restart and gather the scrappy ball, plying on on halfway before Edwards sends it high. Biggar is under it and he marks it before sending the ball into touch for a Quins lineout on halfway.

One change for Saints as we restart, with Hill replacing Painter in the front row.

Edwards gets us restarted here at Twickenham Stadium! 

Time's up in the first half as we set the lineout and Quins try to maul forwards but Saints hold them for a time.

Scrappy at the scrum and though Saints manage to keep it for a time, Quins get over the ball at the next phase to earn a penalty. Edwards put it into the corner.

Quins turn the ball over just off the lineout but Murley knocks the ball on as he comes forwards. Scrum Saints.

Saints push into Quins' half and though the home side turn the ball over, Saints get it back and Ludlam charges forwards. Biggar sends it high but Green is there and he marks it, before sends the ball to touch for a Saints lineout back near halfway.

Quins push forwards from the lineout but Edwards' chip hits Biggar and he sends it back to Mitchell to clear. Murley is there and he finds touch with his own kick. Lineout Saints just inside their one half. 

Scrappy at these scrum and Quins knock on just after. Saints play on with the advantage for a time before Biggar boots it to touch. Lineout Quins on halfway.

Furbank takes the restart and Saints push forwards before Mitchell lears. But referee Wayne Barnes says there's a knock on in the build up and we'll have a Quins scrum just inside Saints' 22.

Great rush defence from Hutchinson from the restart and that allows Ludlam to get over the ball and earn Saints the penalty. Biggar points to the posts.

Proctor leaves the field as we restart, with Hutchinson taking his place.

Saints turn over and Sleightholme kicks through, chasing with Skosan. But Quins just manage to get back first and clear. Lineout Saints just inside Quins' 22.

Biggar clears long from the scrum and Green gathers. He comes forwards and Quins play on around halfway.

Saints defend hard off the lineout and push Quins back outside their 22 but with an advantage coming for the home side, they work into the Saints' 22 now. Care chips over the top but Mitchell gathers and we come back for the penalty. Quins opt to scrum. 

Dombrandt breaks through off the restart and Quins are awarded a penalty just after. Edwards puts it into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22.

Penalty for Quins at the breakdown and they take it quickly, working up to Saints' five metre line quickly. 

Quins manage to regather their restart and begin to push on Saints' 22. 

Matavesi and then Ludlam push Saints forwards, with the latter getting within inches of the line. And still Saints push.

Saints come forwards off the lineout before Biggar sends a chip over the top. Green returns but his kick heads straight out and Saints will have the lineout just outside Quins' 22.

Furbank is hit hard from the restart but Saints keep possession and Mitchell clears well. Green gathers the long ball before Edwards sends it high. Mitchell returns the ball to Green and Saints are up in defence as he comes forwards. And they're awarded a penalty for their efforts which Biggar puts into touch for a lineout.

Saints maul forwards again before Mitchell feeds Dingwall through the middle. The scrum-half gets things up to the five metre line and still Saints push.

Penalty Saints at the breakdown this time and Biggar puts the ball into touch for a lineout on Quins' 22.

Saints pressure at the restart and Care is forced to box high. Furbank is under it and Saints play on on the halfway line now. 

Quins try to maul but are held by Saints and are forced to bring it out. Edwards gets things up to the five metre line and the home side continue to push from close range. 

Penalty Quins as Saints are pinged for not rolling at the breakdown and Edwards puts it into the corner.

Saints push forwards from the restart before the ball comes back to Biggar to clear. Green is under it and Quins play on around halfway now.

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints maul towards the try line now...

Saints regather the restart and push towards Quins' 22 now. Furbank breaks through and feeds Skosan to get Saints into the 22 now. Saints have an advantage coming and eventually we come back for it. Biggar puts it into the corner.
