Leicester Tigers vs Northampton Saints

Coles is up for the lineout and there's a penalty coming for Saints too as Proctor pushes up for halfway. Eventually we com back for the penalty as the clock runs into the red. 

HIA for Haywood and he's replaced by Matavesi as we set the lineout.

Penalty Saints at the breakdown! Another huge defensive effort from Saints and it's Heffernan who's over the ball this time. Hutchinson sends the ball into touch for a Saints lineout now. 

Tigers push into Saints' 22 and keep coming. 

Wood is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards before James sends it high. Nadolo is under it and Tigers push from halfway again. 

Penalty Saints at the breakdown! That's a huge penalty from Tuala as he gets over the ball. Hutchinson sends the ball into touch for a lineout back near halfway. 

Tigers maul forwards but Saints disrupt it well and push them back. Tigers keep coming though.

Ford sends the penalty into the corner for a lineout there. 

Penalty coming for Tigers off the scrum and eventually we pause for it. 

A huge hit from Tonks slows Tigers off the lineout and they're forced to clear. Furbank is under it but his pass to Collins comes forwards and Tigers will have the scrum inside Saints' half. 

James finds Biggar who finds Collins off the scrum and the winger darts forwards but knocks on as he's hit and the ball heads into touch. Lineout Tigers.

Collins replaces Freeman as we set the scrum. 

Van Poortvliet boxes himself and Furbank is there. He comes forwards before Biggar sends it downfield. Tigers return it but their kick goes dead and Saints will have the scrum back inside Tigers' half.

Scrappy at the scrum but Saints keep hold of it. James boxes high and Tuala chases but Tigers just get there first. 

Heffernan replaces Hill as we set the scrum to make his Premiership debut.

Not straight at the lineout from Tigers and Saints will have the scrum. 

Penalty goes Tigers' way as the scrum comes down and Ford sends it to touch for a lineout back in Saints' half. 

Tonks is up for the lineout and Saints try to come wide quickly but Tigers intercept. But the intercepter knocks on and Saints will have the scrum just outside Tigers' 22. 

James boxes high and Tigers gather but Ribbans strips the ball in a tackle and earn a penalty at the next breakdown too. Biggar sends the ball into touch for a lineout on Tigers' 22. 

Tigers maul but knock on and Saints play on with the ball. 

Tonks replaces Adendorff as we set the lineout.

Tigers get over the ball at the next phase though and earn the penalty. Ford sends it to touch for a lineout just outside Saints' 22. 

No conversion from Ford our wide and Hutchin chases the restart hard. Van Poortvliet is forced to box clear but Furbank keeps the ball in play. Saints push on halfway now.

Tigers work forwards from the lineout and a break from Van Poortvliet gets them up to the five metre line. 

Coles replaces Moon as we set the resulting lineout just inside Saints' half.

Tigers return Saints' restart and Saints push on around halfway. Ribbans is nearly through and Saints creep forwards but Tigers get over the ball and earn the penalty there.

Penalty Tigers at the scrum though and Ford points for the posts. 

Scrappy at the lineout but Tigers manage to keep possession. They come forwards but Haywood hits hard and they knock on. Scrum Saints. 

Tigers try to maul the lineout but Saints hold them again but are penalised there. Ford sends this one to the corner too. 

Waller and Matavesi are replaced by Auterac and Haywood as we set the lineout. 

Tigers look to maul from the lineout but Saints hold firm and force them to play. There's an advantage coming for Tigers and we come back for it. Ford sends it to touch for a lineout in Saints' 22. 

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards off it. Biggar sends the ball up and Steward return it for Biggar to find touch with this time. Lineout Tigers on halfway.

Aerial tennis ensues and eventually it's a Tigers boot who find touch. Lineout Saints back near their own 22. 

A lovely sweeping move get Saints into Tigers' half. Wood breaks free to get things into Tigers' 22 with James on his shoulder but the ball comes loose from there and Saints are pushed back. They come forwards on halfway now.

Good pressure from Saints at the lineout but Tigers manage to keep hold of it. The ball comes to the midfield but Tigers knock on and Saints play on. 

No conversion from Biggar out wide but Ribbans takes the restart again and comes forwards. Biggar clears and Tigers will have the lineout back near halfway. 

Biggar sends the resulting penalty into touch and Saints have the lineout in Tigers' 22. 

Ford's kick come back into play off the posts and Ribbans gathers. Biggar clears but he's hit late and we're with the TMO to check it. 

Saints get over the ball at the breakdown but the penalty goes Tigers' way. Ford points to the posts.

Furbank takes the restart and Saints push forwards before James sends the ball high. Tigers gather and push on the halfway line. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum too and Biggar points for the posts. 

Knock on from Tigers at the restart and Saints have the scrum.

One change for Saints at half time with Tuala replacing Francis as we get back underway. 

Biggar gets things restarted here at Welford Road!

Francis chases the restart again and he's blocked. Penalty to Saints and Biggar points to the posts.

Saints defend hard and push Tigers back to the five metre line now but the home side still push.

Tigers maul forwards but it comes down short of the line. They keep pushing.

Saints maul forwards from the lineout before James boxes high. Tigers come back and earn a penalty as Saints are found offside. Ford sends it to the corner. 

Solid at the scrum again and Adendorff comes forwards off the back of it before James boxes high. Nadolo takes it and races forwards to get Tigers going. They're up to Saints' 22 now. 

Tigers maul the lineout once more before it comes wide. Nadolo knocks on over the line though and Saints will have the scrum. 

James replaces Mitchell – who took a big hit in the last play – as we set the lineout

Adendorff races forwards off the back of the scrum and it comes back to Biggar to clear. Lineout Tigers.

Solid at the scrum but Tigers push forwards off the back of it. They work into Saints' 22 but knock on there and Saints will have this scrum. 

Tigers maul from the lineout again but Saints work hard to disrupt it and get the turn over. It comes out but Adendorff can't quite control it and Tigers will have the scrum. 

Over the top from Saints and Francis is on it. He comes forwards but gets isolated and Tigers have the penalty. Ford sends it to touch for a Tigers lineout in Saints' half. 

Ribbans takes the restart again and Saints maul forwards from there. Adendorff breaks free but Saints have the penalty coming from the maul and we come back for that. Biggar sends it to touch for a lineout inside Tigers' half. 

Furbank sends the ball high and Youngs does the same in return. Proctor calls for the mark as the ball comes down in Saints' 22 though and he clears well. Lineout Tigers on halfway. 

Solid at scrum and the ball comes wide quickly to Freeman. He darts up for halfway before finding Wood and Saints push on there again. 

Tigers get the ball out to the midfield quickly off the lineout but they knock on there and Saints will have the scrum. 

Tigers maul forwards off the lineout and Saints are penalised there. Ford sends it to touch for a Tigers lineout on Saints' 22.

Free kick Tigers at the scrum and Ford sends it downfield. Proctor is back there and Furbank clears well. Lineout Tigers back inside their own half.

Brilliant pressure from Francis on the restart and Tigers knock on. Scrum Saints on Tigers' 22. 

Tigers push forwards off the lineout and work into the 22 but referee Dickson was playing advantage for a high tackle and Ford points for the posts. 

Good shove from Saints at the scrum and Biggar clears well. Lineout Tigers on halfway. 

Tigers look to maul from the lineout again but Saints hold them and earn the put in at the scrum for their efforts. 

Aerial tennis ensues off the restart and Tigers earn the penalty when Saints take the ball into contact. Ford sends it into the corner for Tigers lineout there.

No conversion from Biggar out wide but Ribbans takes the restart and Saints push on again.

Saints push forwards hard off the lineout and are back inside Tigers' 22 quickly. Adendorff and Wood gets things close before Francis works up to within inches.

Ford sends the ball into touch off the back of the lineout for a Saints lineout on halfway. 

Mitchell gets the ball quickly out of the scrum and Hutchinson whips the ball quickly wide to Freeman from there. The winger darts up the left and makes it up to Tigers' 22 before he's pushed into touch. Lineout Tigers there.

Saints work out of their 22 and Tigers knock on there and Saints will have the scrum. 

Saints push forwards but knock on and Tigers come forwards but Hill gathers a loose ball as they reach Saints' 22 and Saints come forwards again. 

Tigers look to maul but Saints hold them and Youngs sends it high. Saints collect and push on the halfway line. 

Matavesi and Proctor make some ground before Biggar spots space in behind. He chips the ball through and it bobbles into touch. Lineout Tigers back near their own 22. 

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Adendorff pushes forwards off the back of it before Mitchell sends the ball skyward. It heads into touch but off a Tigers hand. Lineout Saints back near halfway. 

Saints are defending hard here and have pushed Tigers back. The home side still push but Wallace is pushed into touch on the five metre line. Lineout Saints there.
