Leicester Tigers vs Northampton Saints

Short on the restart from Saints but Tigers manage to win the aerial battle for the high ball.

Knock on from Tigers and Saints will have the scrum on the five metre line.

Van Poortvliet clears off the restart and scrappy hands see Porter scoop it up. Tigers push inside Saints' 22 now.

Tigers push forwards from the scrum, working into Saints' 22. 

Heffernan and Skosan return as we restart and Saints scoop up the ball there too. James sends it high and Tigers manage to gather the high ball. Van Poortvliet sends it high and Freeman is deemed to have knocked the ball on as it comes down. Scrum Tigers. 

James and Van Poortvliet exchange kicks. With the latter's heading towards Saints' try line. Grayson scoops it up and grounds but has carried the ball over the line. Goal line drop out Saints.

Scrappy at the scrum but Saints manage to keep hold of it. James boxes high and Francis chases hard to hit his opposite man. Van Poortvliet sends the ball high but it heads straight out. Lineout Saints back inside Tigers' half. 

Painter replaces Skosan so we can set the scrum. 

Tigers play on after a few exchanged kicks but Saints defend hard and the home side knock the ball on just inside Saints' half. Scrum Saints there. 

Francis replaces Dingwall as we restart. 

No conversion from Ford out wide and he sends the ball back Saints' way on the restart. Grayson is under it and he clears himself. 

Genge and Burns get play up to the five metre line and Tigers keep coming.

Freeman takes the high ball brilliantly as Tigers return the ball high. But the home side turn the ball over at the breakdown and play on just outside Saints' 22.

James replaces Mitchell as we restart.

Ford's penalty hits the left upright and bounces over the deadfall line. 22 drop out for Saints to restart. 

Tigers send the ball high off the back of the lineout and Proctor is under it. Saints play on but Tigers get over the ball to earn the penalty. Ford points to the posts.

Ford puts the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Saints defend hard after returning the restart but we're with the TMO to see if there's been a high tackle from Saints.

Two big hits from Hinkley and Dingwall push Tigers back inside their own half and force Van Poortvliet to box high. Freeman is there and he returns it. Kick tennis ensues again but Dingwall can't quite control the high ball when it comes to him and Tigers will have the scrum inside Saints' half. 

Mitchell clears from the restart and finds touch well. Lineout Tigers back on halfway. 

Huge shove at the scrum and Saints earn the penalty there. Grayson points to the posts. 

Aerial tennis on the restart and Freeman pressures well to end the kick exchange. The ball comes back to Ford to clear but his kick heads over the dead ball line. We come all the way back for a scrum inside Tigers' 22. 

Ribbans and Hinkley enter play as we restart, with Coles and Augustus making way. 

Grayson sends the ball just wide of the posts and we restart with a 22 drop out for Tigers. 

Penalty advantage coming for Saints from the lineout and though the ball comes wide to Skosan, he can't ground the ball out wide. We come back for the penalty and Grayson points to the posts. 

Good rush defence on the restart forces the error from Tigers and they knock the ball on into touch. Lineout Saints inside Tigers' 22. 

Haywood, Waller and Heffernan replace Iyogun, Matavesi and Painter as we restart.

Solid at the scrum and Proctor comes forwards. But Tigers intercept the ball as it comes wide left and they play on in Saints' 22 now.

Biggars make way as we set the scrum, with Grayson taking his place.

Mitchell boxes high and Tigers manage to gather. The ball comes wide to Potter, he puts boot onto ball but he knocks the ball on as he tries to regather. Saints will have the scrum in their own 22. 

No conversion from Biggar out wide but Freeman gets under the restart and Saints play on again. 

Saints push forwards off the lineout with Lawes getting play up to the five metre line. Saints keep coming.

Overthrow at the lineout and Matavesi pounces on it. Saints push up to halfway and earn a penalty there too as Tigers don't release. Biggar puts the ball into the corner. 

Youngs clears from the lineout and Freeman is under it. He boots the ball high and it bounces into touch before anyone can reach it. Lineout Tigers on halfway. 

Saints push all the way up to Tigers' 22 but are penalised for holding on there. Ford puts the ball into touch for a lineout just outside Tigers' 22.

Saints defend hard at the maul and Youngs has to clear. Proctor is under it but knocks the ball on in the contest to gather. Tigers gather themselves but the ball comes loose and Matavesi hacks forwards. Skosan is in chase but Potter gets there first. He clears and Saints play on again.

Mitchell clears himself and though Dingwall charges up in defence he's penalised for a high tackle. Ford sends the ball into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Wells rises for the restart and Youngs boots clear under pressure from Saints. Skosan keeps the ball in and Augustus trucks it uptown halfway. Saints play on.

Mitchell finds Hutchinson and then Dingwall off the back of the scrum and Saints push hard. But they're held up over the try line. The TMO intervenes with a possible head contact. 

Lawes is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards quickly. They push towards Tigers' 22 and keep coming. Hutchinson drops the ball onto his boot and Skosan is in chase. But Steward knocks the ball into touch and Saints have the scrum on Tigers' five metre. 

Penalty coming for Saints from another big shove at the scrum and Biggar puts it into touch when we come back for it. Lineout Saints on halfway. 

Tigers use the ball quickly off the lineout but Saints defend hard and they get the rewards as Tigers knock the ball forwards. Scrum Saints. 

Youngs clears off the restart and Skosan is under it. Saints play on on the halfway line now. But they're pinged for offside there and Ford puts it into the corner. 

Advantage coming for Tigers from the scrum and Ford points to the posts when we come back for the penalty there.

Free kick Tigers at the lineout as Saints close the gap and Ford sends it high. The home side regather and push up to Saints' 22. Ford chips over the top and though Freeman gathers he's pushed to the ground. Scrum Tigers on the five metre line to restart. 

Lawes steals the lineout and Mitchell clears. Steward is back to gather and he boots it back Saints' way. Freeman clears himself, finding touch with his nudge. Lineout Tigers back inside their own half. 

Penalty Tigers at the scrum as is collapses and Ford puts it into touch for a lineout just inside Saints' half. 

Another good shove from Saints at the scrum and Hutchinson breaks through Tigers' midfield off the back of it. He sends a lopping pass over to Skosan but he can't gather it and Tigers will have the scrum on their own 22. 

There's a knock on from Tigers as the high ball comes down and Saints will have the scrum. 

Saints come forwards off the lineout through Dingwall and Proctor. The ball comes back to Biggar for the drop goal but he sends it just wide right. 22 drop out for Tigers to restart. 

Saints push in defence off the and force Youngs to clear. They also earn a penalty at the breakdown as Tigers fail to roll away. Biggar puts the ball into touch for a lineout just outside Tigers' 22. 

Saints defend hard at the maul but are pinged for not releasing just after and Ford points to the posts. 

Augustus turns the ball over at the breakdown as Tigers reach Saints' five metre line. But the ball heads into touch instead of Skosan's hands and Tigers have the lineout there.

Another good shove from Saints but Tigers keep the ball this time. They build the phases in Saints' 22 now.

The maul comes down and the scrum goes Tigers' way again.

Tigers intercept the ball as it comes out to Saints' midfield and Potter boots the ball downfield. It bobbles into touch before anyone can reach it and Saints will have the lineout in their own 22.

Youngs sends the ball high off the back of the lineout and Skosan is under it. Saints play on. 

Huge shove from Saints at the scrum and they turn the ball over. But as they whip the ball wide to Skosan, the ball comes loose and there's a high tackle from Saints. Ford clears to touch for a Tigers lineout on halfway.

Saints break down the left and think they've scored through Mitchell but the TMO chalks the score off for a knock on in the midfield in the build up. Scrum Tigers just outside their own 22 instead.

Free kick Tigers at the scrum and Ford boots it downfield. Saints play on again.

The ball comes wide and Freeman races clear. He boots the ball downfield but can't quite gather and the ball goes forwards. Scrum Tigers in their own 22 now.

Saints work hard to disrupt the lineout and the reward comes in the form of a Tigers knock on. Scrum Saints. 

Freeman clears off the restart and Burns finds touch from his own boot. Lineout Tigers in Saints' 22. 

Free kick Tigers at the scrum as Saints push early and Ford clears downfield. Freeman is under it and he sends it high. Saints earn the penalty as it comes down and Biggar points to the posts.

Lawes is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards. The maul comes down but Saints are deemed to have brought it down and the scrum goes Tigers' way.

Saints work into Tigers' half and are awarded a penalty at the breakdown there too. Biggar puts this one into touch too for a Saints lineout in the corner. 

Mitchell box kicks high and Tiger win the aerial battle for the ball. Ludlam puts in a huge hit to push Tigers back to halfway and Youngs sends the ball high. Skosan is under it and he's taken out in the air. Penalty Saints and Biggar puts it into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Freeman takes the kick-off and Mitchell clears. Ford gets under it but Dingwall is up in defence and forces Ford to kick. Freeman is under it and Saints play on.
