Northampton Saints vs Bath Rugby

Less than 30 seconds left here as we set the scrum. 

Scrappy at the base of the scrum again and we'll reset but with a Bath put in this time. 

The breakdown is a mess and referee Ian Tempest decides to restart things with a Saints scrum. 

Saints disrupt the lineout but Bath keep the ball. Spencer sends it high and Proctor is there. Saints push back up to the halfway line and keep coming.

Penalty Bath as the scrum though and Priestland sends it to touch for a Bath lineout just outside their own 22. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum! Its a huge shove and Saints choose the scrum again.

Free kick Saints as the scrum collapses and Saints choose to scrum again.

No try says the TMO and we come back for a Saints scrum on the five-metre line.

Saints charge forwards and Proctor is over in the corner but we're with the TMO to check the grounding.

Good from Saints at the lineout and they push on again. Proctor charges forwards again and Saints are up to the five-metre line again now. 

Marshall replaces Matavesi as we set the lineout.

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints push on, Ludlam charges forwards before Mallinder hacks through into touch. The TMO spots a high tackle in the build up though and Mallinder send this one into touch for a lineout on Bath's 22.

Coles replaces Wood as we set the lineout.

A good shove from Saints but the ball pops out of the back of the scrum and Bath get on it first. But Saints pressure well in defence and earn the penalty at the breakdown. Mallinder sends it to touch for a lineout on halfway.

No try says the TMO as there are a series of knock ons in the build up from both side. We restart with a Saints scrum. 

Bath turn the ball over and come forwards but Sleightholme gets back to cover well. The ball comes loose though and Bath think they've dived on the ball over the try line, we're with the TMO.

Bath clear the restart and Saints have the lineout on halfway. 

Sleightholme replaces Naiyaravoro as we restart.

Taylor boxes high and Bath get to the ball first, we come back for a penalty in the build up though. Priestland sends it to touch for a lineout.

Isiekwe claims the restart and Saints push on again. 

Mallinder replaces Freeman as we restart here.

The ball comes back the other way and Proctor makes ground, Saints have an advantage coming and when Naiyaravoro can't take the cross field kick we come back for it. Francis points to the posts. 

Priestland sends the ball high and Freeman is there. He sends it through and Priestland returns it. More aerial tennis before Naiyaravoro decides to go alone. He charges past defenders up the left and Saints are within five metres now.

Taylor replaces James as Priestland lines up for the posts.

Penalty Bath at the breakdown as Saints are penalised for not rolling away. 

Muir and McConnochie team up on the right wing to get Bath close and still the away side push. 

Penalty Bath at the restart as Hutchinson is penalised for tackling Mercer in the air. Priestland sends the ball to touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Moon replaces Ratuniyarawa as we get restarted.

Bath come forwards quickly off the lineout and earn a penalty at the breakdown. Priestland points to the posts. 

McConnochie charges forwards and Bath push themselves close but Saints turn the ball over themselves on the five-metre line. James clears and Bath have a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Wood is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards before it comes out. Saints push on but Staddon gets over the ball and Bath play on with the turnover. 

Waller replaces Auterac as we set the lineout.

Mercer finds Matavesi off the back of the scrum and the ball comes back to Priestland to clear. Lineout Saints just outside the Bath 22. 

It is a knock on says the TMO and Bath will have the five-metre scrum. 

Ratuniyarawa is up for the lineout and Saints push forwards again. Proctor dances down the right wing and finds Hutchinson inside him, he scrambled forwards and Ludlam is there. The skipper charges up and the ball is over the line but we're with the TMO to check if there's been a knock on over the line. 

Furbank sends it high but the TMO calls us back for a neck roll against Bath. Furbank sends the penalty into the corner.

Bath look to maul from the lineout but they're held firm and Priestland sends it high. Naiyaravoro takes it and charges forwards. Saints push on again.

A strongly contested scrum but Bath get over the ball as it comes out and earn the penalty there. Priestland sends it to touch for a lineout back near halfway. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum again! And Saints choose to stick with the scrum with the penalty. 

Saints maul forwards from the lineout before the ball comes wide to Freeman. The fullback dances forwards before finding James again. The scrum-held gets close but it held up over the line. Scrum Saints on the five-metre line. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum! It's another dominant shove and Furbank sends the penalty into touch for a lineout inside Bath's half. 

Good pressure from Saints sees Bath knock on though and Saints will have the scrum. 

Chudley sends the ball high and Proctor gets under it. Furbank clears downfield and Schoeman returns. Freeman sends it high himself and Rokoduguni coming forwards. Bath push up to Saints' 22 now.

Bath clear the restart and Freeman and Schoeman scramble for the high ball, it ends up in touch though and Bath have the lineout.

One change for Saints at half-time; Hill replaces Painter in the front row. 

Furbank gets us restarted here at the Gardens!

Time's up here as Bath continue to push.

Bath tap and go once more and push on again.

Another penalty coming Bath's way as they continue to push, but as the ball comes loose as it comes wide to Priestland we come back for the penalty. 

Bath take it quickly and they start to push again.

Advantage coming for Bath as Saints are found offside and the away side push before we come back for the penalty. 

Bath drive towards the line from the scrum, building the phases now.

Bath come forwards from the lineout, slowly gaining territory before Saints are penalised at the breakdown. Priestland sends it to the corner. 

Free kick Saints at the scrum though and Furbank sends it long into touch. Lineout Bath back near halfway. 

Saints send the ball back Bath's way and the away side hack through again. Hutchinson dots down over the try line but the TMO deems him to have carried the ball back over the line and Bath will have the five-metre scrum. 

Ribbans charges through the middle and James chips over into space behind Saints' line. Schoeman gets their first though and Priestland spots space in behind Saints line this time, hacking through. Furbank gets back to it first. 

Ratuniyarawa disrupts the lineout and Saints come away with the ball. They push back over the halfway line and keep coming.

Bath secure the lineout and look to push themselves forwards. They earn a penalty though as Saints are found offside and Priestland clears to touch for a lineout back near halfway. 

Furbank sends it high and Schoeman returns it. Proctor dances up the right wing before the ball comes back inside and Hutchinson dinks it through to touch behind Bath's line. Lineout Bath in their own 22.

Ribbans claims the restart again and Saints push on once more. 

Good at the lineout from Saints and Ludlam trucks it up off the back of it. 

Saints send the restart long and Priestland clears to touch. Lineout Saints just inside Bath's half. 

The penalty goes Bath's way at the scrum this time though and Priestland points to the posts. 

Ribbans rises high for the restart but knocks the ball on and Bath will have the scrum just outside the Saints 22. 

Saints come forwards and Bath are penalised for a high tackle and Furbank sends it to the corner once again.

Another scrum penalty for Saints! Furbank sends it to touch for a lineout inside Bath's half. 

Bath push but Proctor gets across to push Mercer into touch and force the knock on from the Bath No.8 too. Saints choose the scrum option. 

Furbank sends the conversion wide from the right touchline and Bath secure the restart. They start pushing just inside Saints' half.

Isiekwe is up for the lineout this time and Saints maul forwards before James picks it out and comes forwards.

We come back for the penalty as Francis is held up and Furbank sends it to the corner.

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Matavesi charges forwards off the back of it. Ludlam muscles close and Saints have the advantage coming as they continue to push. 

Strong shove from Saints at the scrum but Bath keep the ball and clear. Lineout Saints just outside the Bath 22. 

Saints push up and Francis breaks through, James and Hutchinson are with him and the latter steams into the try line but a brilliant cover tackle sees Hutchinson knock on just short of the line. Scrum Bath. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum again and Furbank sends it to the corner. 

James sends the ball high again and Bath knock the high ball on. Scrum Saints. 

Saints push from the lineout before the ball goes aerial, Bath return a couple of times before Rokoduguni charges forwards. Priestland pings over a cross field kick but Hutchinson gets to it first. James returns the ball and when Schoeman does the same, Saints comes forwards.

Penalty Saints at the scrum! And Saints have the lineout this time. 

Knock on at the lineout from Bath and Saints have the scrum. 

Scrappy at the lineout and Saints come away with the ball. The ball comes out to Proctor who pushes close but he's pinged for trying to wriggle out of a tackle on the floor. Priestland send the penalty into touch and Bath have the lineout in Saints' half. 

James returns the kick-off and Bath press on the halfway line before Chudley chips over the top and Freeman returns with interest into touch. Lineout Bath just outside their own 22.
