Wasps vs Northampton Saints

Penalty Wasps at the scrum and Daly sends it into touch. Lineout Wasps.

Burrell is over the line but he knocks the ball on there. Scrum Wasps.

Lawes is up for the lineout and Saints look to maul but Wasps hold them. Mitchell whips the ball out and goes himself. Saints are up to the five metre now and pushing...

Wasps chips through and Tuala is there. Lawes barges forwards before Mitchell breaks. He finds Kellaway and Saints are back in the home 22. They earn a penalty at the breakdown and Grayson sends it to the corner.

Young returns from his HIA and Lovobalavu enters play too, Carr and Campagnaro make way.

Saints work hard but Hughes gets over the ball at the breakdown and earn the penalty. Daly sends the ball into touch for a lineout on halfway.

Saints play quickly off the lineout and work their way up to Wasps 22. Lawes is the man who gets them there before the forwards take on the mantle.

Biggar is replaced by Grayson as we set the lineout.

Harrison feeds Mitchell off the base and Burrell is away. He makes it  out of Saints' 22 before the away side earn a penalty at the breakdown. Biggar sends it to touch. Lineout Saints in Wasps' half. 

But Wasps somehow come away with the ball at a ruck. They come wide but knock the ball on there. Scrum Saints in their own 22. 

Wasps look to use the ball quickly again but Saints' defence scrambles across well. They come back the other way and De Jongh chip through. Saints have it but are back in their own 22 again.

Good shove from Saints forces Wasps to use the ball quickly. And good defence forces Robson to box. Tuala takes it but slides into touch. Lineout Wasps just inside Saints' half. 

Myall replaces Rowlands as we set the scrum. 

But as the ball comes back inside, Saints just lose it on the floor. Scrum Wasps.

Biggar spots a gap and darts through it but Wasps close in in defence. Saints still pushing though and Kellaway charges forwards out wide to get things moving again. 

Scrappy at the lineout from Wasp and Saints get the ball. They play on and make it up to the halfway line quickly. 

Young leaves the field for a HIA, with Carr returning to play.

Wasps play from the lineout and Robson chips over. Tuala is there and he races forwards to get Saints out of their own 22. The ball comes wide to Naiyaravoro and he offloads into Dingwall but the centre is pushed into touch. Lineout Wasps on halfway.

Front row change for Wasps too. Shania and Cooper-Wooley make way for Harris and Stuart as we restart.

Penalty Wasps at the scrum. And Sopoaga clears to touch. Lineout Wasps back in Saints' half.

Wood breaks out wide but his offload inside is knocked forwards. Scrum Wasps.

Tuala knocks the restart back and Waller is there to collect. Saints make it up to Wasps' 22 and keep pushing. 

Penalty Wasps at the breakdown and Sopoaga calls for his tee.

Wasps look to use the ball quickly and make it into the midfield but are held there. They come wide but Wood puts in a brilliant tackle on De Jongh to hold play there. Wasps keep coming.

And Reinach departs as we set the lineout, with Mitchell coming into the game.

Harrison picks from the base but is swallowed up by Robson. Saints  push on though and Reinach boxes clear. Lineout Wasps just outside Saints' 22. 

Front row change for Saints. Fish, Waller and Franks enter play, with Marshall, Van Wyk and Painter making way.

Hughes nearly breaks through but he knocks on and Saints will have the scrum. 

Scrappy at the lineout but Wasps keep hold of it. They look to maul but Saints bring it down legally. The home side keep coming though and they're up to the five metre.

Penalty Wasps at the scrum and Sopoaga sends it to touch. Lineout Wasps in Saints' 22. 

Wasps maul forwards from the lineout but Saints hold them well. Robson tries to use it but his pass finds touch. Referee Pearce deems the ball to have come off a Saints hand though and Wasps choose the scrum.

Penalty Wasps at the restart and Sopoaga clears to touch. Lineout Wasps on halfway.

Ratuniyarawa, Brüssow and Kellaway enter play as we restart, Ribbans, Ludlam and Collins make way.

Wasps think they've scored again as they intercept and work forwards over the line...

Carr is replaced by Hughes as we get the lineout set. 

Sopoaga clears but he finds Collins. The Saints wing looks to clear but his kick comes off Wasps hands into touch. Lineout Saints.

Reinach whips the ball away and Saints' backs get them back on the front foot. Burrell looks to charge forwards but Wasps slow his progress. And as Reinach chips through he slips. The ball finds Wasps hands and they come forwards.

Saints defending well on halfway and force the knock on from their hosts. Scrum Saints.

Biggar clears well and Wasps have the lineout but back at halfway.

... sends the long-range kick way short though and Saints play on.

Penalty Wasps at the scrum. Daly steps up and calls for the posts from within his own half. 

Reinach looks to play the ball but is held up and Wasps have the scrum on halfway.

Wood is up for the lineout and Burrell charges forwards. Biggar sends the ball high. He collects his own chips and feeds Ludlam. Saints are up to halfway now and pushing.

No try. And a penalty for Saints as Ludlam is tackled off the ball. Biggar sends the penalty to touch for a lineout up near halfway.

Young breaks through and thinks he's scored but we're with the TMO to see if he's got up before the tackle on him was complete...

Wasps come forwards off the lineout again and pushing in Saints' 22 again. 

Harrison scoops off the base and races forwards. Saints look to get out of their own 22 but are pushed into touch. Lineout Wasps.

The home side find themselves accidentally offside though and Saints will have the scrum on their own five metre line.

Wasps use the ball quickly again and are again held in the midfield. Young breaks through and Wasps are up to the 22 now and pushing. 

Wasps use the ball quickly at the lineout and look to crash through the midfield but Saints hold firm. The ball comes wide before the home side chip through. Biggar is there though and Reinach clears well. Lineout Wasps.

Ribbans takes the restart and Saints maul forwards up to halfway before it comes apart. Biggar sends the ball up and Naiyaravoro is there. Reinach looks to box but is charged down. Biggar is there though and Collins clears the ball off the pitch. Lineout Wasps inside Saints' half. 

Just one point in it as Sopoaga get things started again here at the Ricoh!

Wood gets over the ball and earns Saints the penalty and referee Pearce gives the away side ten metres too. Now just inside the Wasps half, Biggar calls for the posts.

Nearly an overthrow from Waps but they just keep it. Saints come up in defence but Wasps keep coming. 

Collins takes the restart but Daly is there in defence and Saints have to play out of their own 22. Reinach boxes clear and Wasps will have the lineout.

Wood races forwards and gets Saints up to the five metre and though Wasps get over the ball we come back for a penalty to Saints as Wasps are offside. Biggar calls for the posts.

Le Roux just gets a hand to the restart despite good pressure from Tuala. And Saints press up to hold Wasps in their own 22. Le Roux clear but Collins is there. Saints play on.

Wasps start to come wide but Shields' offload finds Collins and Saints play on. Reinach clears form the ruck and Sopoaga is there. He runs at Saints and the home side earn a penalty at the breakdown. Sopoaga points to the posts.

Saints take it quickly and Biggar clears. Daly takes the lineout quickly though and Wasps come forwards again.

Wood secures the ball at the lineout this time. Saints maul forwards before Reinach sends it skyward. Wasps seem to have knocked it on but keep possession and play on inside their own half. 

Wasps challenge at the lineout and manage to get hold of the ball. They play on but are pushed back to halfway. The ball comes wide but Carr's offload to Daly finds touch. Lineout Saints.

Saints clear the restart and Wasps return it. Reinach sends it back but Robson finds touch with his nudge and Saints will have the lineout just outside their own 22. 

Le Roux knocks on the high ball from the restart and Saints will have the scrum inside Wasps' 22. 

The home side chip through and though Tuala is there, Wasps regain possession. They come wide before Daly chip through and Saints have the lineout on their own five metre.

Short from Wasps at the restart but Ludlam gets there first. Biggar clears and Sopoaga gets back for it. Wasps play on around halfway. 

Ludlam is up for the lineout and Naiyaravoro steams in. Saints have the advantage coming and eventually we come back for it. Biggar points for the posts.

Wasps look to attack from the restart but Ribbans pushes Campagnaro into touch and Saints will have the lineout just outside Wasps' 22.

Wasps get the ball out quickly and look to push on but Saints hold them.They keep coming though and work their way up to the five metre line.

Penalty Wasps as Bassett is deemed to have been held back while Daly broke through. Sopoaga sends it into the corner.

Wasps runner come forwards before the ball heads wide. Daly is away but his offload finds Collin's hands. We pause the game while we head to the TMO...

Reinach boxes it clear and though Sopoaga takes it he's downed by Lawes. But referee Luke Pearce deems the tackle to have been high and Sopoaga sends the penalty kick into touch. Lineout Wasps.

The scrum collapses but Wasps play on. Huge hits coming in from Saints hold them back and Sopoaga chips through. Saints clear but Daly is there. He sends it high and Biggar is there. Saints play on around halfway. 

Wood is up for the lineout and Burrell comes forwards quickly but Saints knock on just after and Wasps play on with the advantage before we come back for it. Scrum Wasps.

Free kick Wasps as Saints are penalised for being pre-engaged. Sopoaga sends it to touch and Saints will have the lineout just inside their own half.

Lawes is up for the lineout but Saints are penalised for a not straight throw. Scrum Wasps.

Ludlam is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards quickly. Dingwall is nearly through and Saints keep coming. They come wide and Campagnaro goes for the intercept one handed but knocks on. Penalty Saints and Biggar sends it into the corner.

Overthrow from Wasps but they hold onto it and begin to push around Saints' 22. But Ludlam gets over the ball and Saints earn the penalty. Biggar sends the ball to touch for a lineout back in Wasps' territory. 

Biggar clears and Wasps will have the lineout just outside Saints' 22. 

Harrison scoops the ball from the base and Saints look to go wide but are turned over there. Wasps hack the ball through but Burrell gets back for it. Saints play on.

Saints keep pushing and earn a scrum at the breakdown. 

Burrell nearly breaks through off the back of the lineout and Saints are within five metres but good defence from the home side earns Wasps the penalty at the breakdown. Sopoaga clears but misses touch. Saints play on.

Harrison breaks to get Saints back on the from foot as Wasps pressure well. They've got an advantage coming but chip the ball forwards. Le Roux tries to clear but his kick sees the ball go straight out. Lineout Saints just outside Wasps' 22. 

Saints collect the kick-off and are on the attack early on. The ball comes wide to Dingwall before Reinach brings it back the other way. Saints keep crashing forwards.
