Northampton Saints vs Leinster

Leinster look to maul the lineout but get nowhere. They bring the ball out and start pushing once again.

Penalty Leinster as Saints are penalised for not rolling. Byrne sends it to the corner.

No conversion from Byrne and we restart here. Leinster claim the short ball and play on once more.

Desperate defence from Saints here as they work to keep Leinster out.

Leinster look to maul the lineout but Saints hold them. They bring the ball out and begin to push into Saints' 22. 

Saints work hard but Leinster earn a penalty at the breakdown and Byrne sends it to touch.

Ludlam takes the lineout again and Saints come forwards off it. 

McGrath clears from the breakdown and Saints have the lineout on halfway.

Ludlam takes the lineout and Saints push forwards again. Naiyaravoro and Ratuniyarawa work forwards but the ball is lost in contact again and Leinster play on. 

Byrne clears off the back of the scrum and Saints will have another lineout on Leinster's 22. 

Tupai finds Grayson in the midfield off the lineout and Naiyaravoro is there but Saints are deemed to have knocked on in contact and Leinster have the scrum again.

Leinster steal the lineout but Van Wyk gets over the ball and Saints have the penalty just after. Grayson sends it to touch for a lineout in Leinster's 22. 

Free kick for Leinster at the scrum as Saints push early and Byrne sends the ball into touch. Lineout Saints back near halfway.

HIA for Moon too and Wood re-enters the game. 

Reinach is replaced by Tupai as we set the scrum. 

Saints work hard but are pinged for another forward pass and Leinster will have the scrum. 

Grayson finds Hutchinson, who intern finds Proctor. The centre works up to the Leinster 22 and Saints keep pushing. 

Leinster clear and Proctor is there to keep it in. Saints play on.

Coles and Grayson enter play as we set the scrum, with Gibson and Biggar making way. 

Saints push hard and a gap opens up out wide but the ball goes forwards on its way there and Leinster have the scrum. 

Saints push up to the Leinster 22 before Hutchinson chips over. Larmour clears but Naiyaravoro is there and he charges forwards. Saints are back up to the five metre line now.

Leinster get the ball out of the scrum quickly and push forwards. McGrath sends the ball high and Collins is there. Saints play on.

Haywood is replaced by Van Vuuren as we set the scrum. 

Saints look to play from the lineout but are deemed to have knocked on in contact and Leinster will have the scrum. 

Sin bin period is over so Naiyaravoro returns and Francis replaces Tuala as we get set for the lineout.

Huge shove from Saints at the scrum but Leinster manage to keep the ball. McGrath clears and Saints will have the lineout.

Change for Saints so we can have the scrum: Naiyaravoro makes way for Van Wyk.

Moon is up for the lineout and Haywood feeds Naiyaravoro but the wing loses the ball forwards in contact and Leinster have the scrum. 

Advantage coming for Saints and eventually we come back for it. Biggar sends it to the corner. 

Ludlam is up for the lineout and Saints play quickly off it. The ball comes wide to Hutchinson who works his way into Leinster's 22. Saints keep coming.

Gibson-Park boxes high and Biggar is there to claim it. He's taken over the horizontal though and we're with the TMO to see if it's foul play...

Ratuniyarawa disrupts the lineout and Gibson claims the loose ball. Saints whip the ball wide but Leinster get a hand to the ball and play on themselves. 

Byrne sends the penalty into touch for a lineout just outside the Leinster 22. 

Two changes for Saints: Painter and Wood make way with Hill and Ludlam entering the game. 

Saints make their way up to the five metre line but Leinster get over the ball and earn a penalty. 

No conversion from Byrne for his own try but Leinster take the restart. Gibson-Park boxes and Tuala is there. He finds Collins who slips through and makes his way up to Leinster's 22 before finding Reinach and Naiyaravoro. Gibson is also there and gets close before Saints earn a penalty. Biggar takes it quickly and Saints push on.

Leinster take the restart and Ringrose breaks through. Gibson-Park is on his shoulder but Haywood works back well to take him down. Leinster keep the ball through and are pushing in Saints' 22 once again.

Leinster are up to the five metre line now and still pushing.

Larmour breaks into Saints' 22 after the ball comes wide from the lineout but Hutchinson takes him down. Leinster have the advantage coming should they need it as they keep pushing Saints' lines.

Leinster collect the restart and Lowe chips through. Biggar is there and he calls for the mark. He clears well and Leinster have the lineout.

No conversion from Sexton and we've just enough time for the restart here.

Sexton sends it to the corner and Leinster maul from the lineout. Saints do well to hold them again and the away side start to building the phases. 

The TMO intervenes though and deems Reinach to have played the ball on the ground, penalty Leinster instead.

Leinster look to maul from the lineout but Saints hold them. Gibson-Park whips the ball out and it's in the midfield quickly. Proctor puts in a huge hit to slow things but Leinster keep coming. But they knock on in contact and Saints have the scrum.

Harrison barrels forwards off the scrum and Reinach clears again. Lowe taps the ball back to Leinster hands and they play on around halfway. 

No try is confirmed by the TMO and Saints have the scrum back where the knock on happened. 

Ratuniyarawa takes the restart and Reinach boxes. Larmour collects and dances through, Gibson-Park is there but the ball comes forwards off him. But Sexton collects the loose ball and thinks he's scored, we're with the TMO to double check...

Naiyaravoro and Gibson team up to get Saints in to Leinster's 22 again and keep coming.

Leinster just secure the lineout but Naiyaravoro gets hands to the ball in the air just after and Saints play on at halfway. 

Collins collects the restart and Biggar clears long. Lineout Leinster back near halfway.

Reinach charges forwards off the scrum and Saints are up to the 22 now. There they earn a penalty as Leinster fail to roll. Biggar points to the posts. 

Leinster steal the lineout but have to scrap to keep it as Saints defend strong. Gibson-Park sends it high and Saints collect. Reinach plays on before Saints earn a scrum on the ground as Leinster knock on. 

Strong at the scrum from Saints but Leinster keep the ball. They work into Saints' 22 but Harrison gets over the ball and earns another penalty. Biggar sends it to touch for a lineout back in Leinster's half. 

Free kick Saints at the scrum and they go quickly. Leinster turn over at the breakdown and Lowe chips through. Tuala is there but he looses the ball forwards and Leinster will have this scrum.

Saints get over the ball after Leinster clear the restart though and have the scrum. 

Reinach boxes the restart and though Collins gets up for it, it's Leinster who come away with the ball. Larmour slips through Saints' line and has Gibson-Park on his shoulder but Reinach races back to make a huge try-saving tackle. Leinster keep the ball though and keep pushing.

Biggar points to the posts with the penalty.

Gibson is up for the lineout and Saints are away Proctor charges up to the Leinster 22 and Saints push on. There's an advantage coming and when Biggar's chip to Collins doesn't come off, we come back for it. 

The away side are up to Saints' 22 but Wood gets over the ball and Saints have the penalty. Biggar sends it long for a lineout back near halfway.

Reinach sends the ball high and Lowe just gets there first. The wing makes it up to the 22 before he's taken down but his offload comes forwards. Saints collect and play on. Reinach sends the ball his again and Leinster get a hand to it first. They push forwards.

Leinster push forwards but Saints do well to hold them back. They're up to the halfway line now. Sexton clears and Saints have the lineout. 

Saints charge forwards from the lineout and the ball is quickly with Harrison on the five metre line. Saints keep coming...

Leinster spoil the lineout and Gibson-Park clears again. Lineout Saints back on the Leinster 22.

Saints come off the lineout quickly and work forwards. Hutchinson  dinks the ball through and though Saints get there first, Leinster intercept and play on.
