Franklin’s Gardens is a hive of activity before most Saints matches, with teams from across the East of England and beyond battling it out for the right to lift that day’s trophy during the half-time interval on the main pitch and in front of thousands of people.
Age group tournaments range from Under-7 to Under-15, with the Under-11 and Under-12 teams competing in the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup and the chance to take part in the Parade of Champions at the 2014 Aviva Premiership Rugby Final at Twickenham.
The older age groups have also been a fertile scouting tool for the Saints Academy staff, who will be watching the action closely for those players who stand out and possibly deserve an invitation to train with one of the club’s Elite Player Development Groups.
All competing teams are also eligible for special group booking deals should they then book 20-or-more tickets for that day’s Saints game.
