Special bucket shake this weekend for Old Scouts U13 full back

Luis Ghaut is currently receiving treatment for Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer which affects only 126 people in the UK every year. Adolescent children between the ages of 8 and 14 are particularly prone, with Luis having the disease in the fibula of his right leg.

To try and raise awareness of Osteosarcoma, Luis’s family have set up a website which reflects both his name and his rugby position of full back – www.lu15.co.uk – and the colours of the Old Scouts club.

Luis and his father, Lee, were at Franklin’s Gardens this week to meet members of the Saints squad, including Ben Foden, Samu Manoa, George Pisi, Dylan Hartley, George North, Sam Dickinson and many others, along with director of rugby Jim Mallinder.

The players have all signed caps (modelled here by Ben Foden), which will be available for auction later in the season.

The Old Scouts Under-13s will also be the guard of honour to welcome the Saints onto the Franklin’s Gardens pitch this Saturday.
