After hosting the Club's annual Charities Day last weekend, Northampton Saints are delighted to announce that a four-figure sum has been raised through bucket shaking alone.
Thanks to the generosity of the Saints supporters attending the game last Saturday as Saints faced Bath, the 15 worthy causes who attended have raised over £2,000 so far.
And with each charity also receiving the match-worn shirts from Saturday's game emblazoned with their logo, that total could yet rise.
Saints Head of Community Connor Fleming was delighted with the effort of the Franklin's Gardens crowd, he said:
"Our supporters always really get behind the causes we invite to Franklin's Gardens but this time they've exceeded all expectations and we're delighted to have been able to raise over £2,000 at this year's Charities Day.
"On behalf of all the 15 charities, I must extend a massive thank you to all the supporters who donated so generously on Saturday. We couldn't support all the worthy causes we're able to without you!"
And the charities were quick to thank Saints' supporters on social media...
