Northampton Saints are seeking enthusiastic Season Ticket Holders to join the Club’s Halos volunteer team and help deliver the warm welcome that makes DPD Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens such a special place on matchdays.
The Halos play a vital role in the supporter experience, acting as friendly faces around the stadium to greet supporters, answer questions and help visitors find their way around the ground.
Whether welcoming first-time visitors, helping supporters locate facilities, or offering directions to seats and stands, the Halos help create a positive atmosphere from the moment people arrive at DPD Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
Importantly, the role is focused on supporter engagement and wayfinding rather than stewarding or safety responsibilities.
BECOME A FACE OF DPD STADIUM
The Club is looking exclusively for Season Ticket Holders to join the programme, recognising that regular supporters know DPD Stadium better than anyone, and are perfectly placed to help fellow fans enjoy their day.
Volunteers will be placed on a rota system and are only expected to assist at a handful of matches across the season, making it a flexible way to contribute to the matchday experience while still enjoying the rugby.
Halos are asked to arrive ahead of stadium opening to receive a briefing and meal, before taking up positions around the ground to welcome supporters as they arrive. Volunteering then concludes just before kick-off, meaning all Halos can then head to their usual Season Ticket seat and enjoy the match as normal.
The programme is also a great opportunity for supporters looking to build experience outside of education or work. Halos develop valuable communication, teamwork and customer service skills while representing Northampton Saints on matchdays – making it a rewarding volunteering opportunity for students, young professionals and supporters looking to gain practical experience.
A THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
As a thank you for their time and commitment, Halos volunteers can take advantage of a range of benefits, including:
- A Halos kit package including a coat, t-shirt, cap and woolly hat.
- A free meal voucher for every match volunteered at.
- Two complimentary tickets for fixtures where they are volunteering*.
- A complimentary ticket for any knockout fixture held at DPD Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, in their usual Season Ticket location.
- Invitations to two exclusive volunteer social events each season, including opportunities to meet players and coaches.
- Seasonal thank-you gifts and other surprises throughout the year!
You will also gain valuable volunteering experience that can be included on CVs, university applications, and future job applications.
