Northampton Saints kick off their 2026/27 Investec Champions Cup campaign as they host Cardiff Rugby on Sunday (18 October, kick-off: 5:30pm) at DPD Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
The men in Black, Green and Gold enter the new European campaign as reigning Gallagher PREM champions and off the back of an impressive 71-48 league victory over Bath last weekend.
The last time Saints and Cardiff met in Europe, back in December 2010, Northampton secured two back-to-back victories – 23-15 at home, and 23-19 away – on their way to reaching that season’s Final.

CAR PARKING
- West Northamptonshire Council took ownership of the Claret Car Park last summer and is building temporary accommodation on part of the site. This means there are 400 fewer parking spaces than previously available – more information is available HERE.
- As such, the entrance to Claret Car Park has changed – as you approach from the Sixfields direction, use the first entrance on the right-hand side.
- Parking will remain available at £10 on the day, payable via contactless payment on arrival.
- Supporters also have access to use Northampton Town FC’s West Car Park (NN5 5QA) on Saints matchdays that do not clash with Cobblers’ games. Parking in this car park will be managed by Cobblers and is priced at £5 on the day via contactless payments upon arrival. Please note, Saints’ seasonal car parking passes are not valid for this Car Park. It will be open from 2.30pm.
- Seasonal car passes valid for the 2026/27 season will be accepted in the Club’s car parks for this match.
- Please also be aware that there will be no movement in the VIP Car Park from ten minutes before the full-time whistle for approximately 25 minutes. As usual, traffic management will be in place in Car Park D, Claret Car Park and on Edgar Mobbs Way.
- After the Car Parks close at midnight, there will be no access to any vehicle left behind until Monday morning.
- Given that DPD Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens sits in a residential area of the town, Saints strongly urge all supporters to use the Club’s car parks. Should they choose not to do so, supporters must park with due care and respect for the needs of local residents and businesses.

FEATURED TRADER
- New for the 2026/27, each week we will be highlighting one of our vendors inside our newly renovated Supporter Village!
- This week’s trader is La Cocinita Street Food – gourmet hot dogs inspired by the flavours of Latin America.
- Founders Alberto Ambler said: “La Cocinita Street Food is the UK’s only Chilean street food truck. With over 20 years of experience catering at London’s biggest sporting and music events, we bring authentic Chilean flavours to the UK. At Saints, we serve gourmet hot dogs with delicious homemade Chilean-inspired toppings and sauces. As a former rugby player, coach and proud Saints supporter, it’s a real privilege to bring a taste of Chile to Northampton rugby supporters! So, bring your appetite, grab a delicious Chilean-inspired hot dog, and fuel up before cheering the boys to victory! Come on you Saints!”
