Northampton Saints' unique coach development programme, Cascade Coaching, has received plenty of positive comments from attendees across the East of England.
Cascade Coaching gives club and school coaches from across the Saints' Academy region the opportunity to learn from Saints coaches at a number of masterclasses that are delivered during the season.
These sessions give attendees the tools they need to develop their own clubs, teams and individual player skills, thereby improving standards both on and off the pitch.
Coaches of both adult, age group and school teams have joined Cascade Coaching, and feedback has been excellent:
“Very informative – simple and effective. Can't wait until the next one and thanks to Saints for their input and support of community rugby” Stephen Morgan, East Midlands Rugby Union
“Great demos. Clear and progressive instructions” Andrew Usher, Quinton House School
“Great use of youth players (recognition to them). Refreshing that this goes back to basics/building blocks” James O'Leary, Kettering RFC
“Very informative and structured session” Ian Mawbey, Long Buckby RFC U11s
“Very clear and useful; some key points were new to me and very helpful! More please!” Ian Gould, Huntingdon RFC
“Clear and concise. As a prop of 37 seasons I still learnt something” Andy Thompson, Old Northamptonians U13s
Cascade Coaching is free to attend, and counts towards a coach's RFU Coaching Licence continuing professional development. Sessions are held across the East of England, and for more information and specific questions email Jon Curry – [email protected]
