Charities chosen for Stadium MK match shirts

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

The 15 good causes benefitting from the Saints’ Charities Day at Stadium MK have been allocated to the first team shirts for Sunday’s Aviva Premiership clash with Saracens.

Each of the charities was drawn at random by Dylan Hartley at Franklin’s Gardens this lunchtime, and will have their logo printed on the relevant shirt ahead of Sunday’s big game.

The charities and their shirts are as follows:

15 Crohn’s and Colitis UK
14 Alfie’s Journey Fund | The Brain Tumour Charity
13 Sarcoma UK
12 Down’s Syndrome Group Northamptonshire
11 Emily’s Star
10 Niamh’s Next Step
9 ABF: The Soldiers’ Charity
1 RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch
2 Your Local Air Ambulance
3 Cynthia Spencer Hospice
4 Chums
5 Restart Rugby
6 The Leon Barwell Foundation
7 Childreach International
8 Transaid

The 15 charities were nominated by Saints supporters, staff and players, and will receive a percentage of the proceeds of any tickets they sell for Sunday’s game. Each charity will also be promoting their work on the main concourse at Stadium MK, which opens at 1pm on the day of the game, and will receive their player’s signed match worn shirt as a special memento of the occasion.
