Today’s government announcement revealed that Northampton Borough Council will be placed in Tier 2 of the local restriction system from Wednesday 2 December.
Northampton Saints understands that this classification means that the Club will be able to host up to 2,000 supporters for the Heineken Champions Cup clash against Bordeaux-Bégles on Friday 11 December (5.30pm kick off).
The Club will communicate further information regarding the fixture next week, including details of a ticket ballot process for Season Ticket Holders and other supporters.
