The Saints left Paris empty-handed after a late, late try from the hosts and in a competitive looking Pool, home form could prove crucial.
“To be in contention to win the game after a good performance away from home and then come away with nothing was obviously very disappointing,” Day told yesterday’s press conference. “It was quite a bitter pill to swallow.
“Ospreys are a very good team and they are coming down here with an impressive recent record so we know they’ll be another tough test.
“We’ve got a belief in the squad though that we are good enough to compete with any side, particularly at home. We’ve got a good record here this season and it’s something we’re incredibly proud of. We’ll be looking to protect that this weekend.
“We’re very much hoping to get things back on track.”
