Northampton Saints has issued the following clarification regarding the use of e-cigarettes within Franklin’s Gardens.
Over the past few months the use of e-cigarettes has become more prevalent. Supporters attending games at Franklin’s Gardens should note that for the sake of consistency, users of e-cigarettes are subject to the same conditions of entry as smokers of tobacco-based cigarettes.
As such they can only be used in designated areas outside the stadium bowl, i.e. in the Match Day Village or underneath Block 24 in the north-west corner. They should not be used in the stands or within sight of the pitch, or in any of the indoor bars, toilets, or catering areas.
