European Champions Cup – how things stand

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

SAINTS BEAT RACING METRO…

- The men in black, green and gold will secure a home quarter final

- A try bonus also ensures the number one seeding

- Top seeding will also be theirs if they maintain a points difference advantage (Saints +120; Toulon +69; Clermont +48; Leinster +47;) or If Toulon, Clermont and Leinster fail to get winning bonus points

SAINTS DRAW WITH RACING METRO…

- Saints advance to the quarter finals

- With a try bonus and no Racing Metro bonus mean a home quarter

- With equal bonus points (one or none) means an away quarter final as a best runner-up

SAINTS LOSE TO RACING METRO WITH ANY BONUS…

- Qualification for an away knockout is still in the bag

SAINTS LOSE TO RACING WITH NO BONUS…

Qualification is still secured if any one of the following occurs:

-The loser of Wasps versus Leinster earns less than two bonus points

- The loser of Clermont versus Saracens earns less than two bonus points

- Montpellier beat Toulouse

- Glasgow beat Bath

- Bath beat Glasgow without a bonus

- If Leinster and Clermont reach 19 points in defeat, Saints will need to maintain their comfortable points difference advantage (Saints +120; Clermont +48; Leinster +47)

Get your heads around that lot!

The Saints will be looking to take the bottom options out of the equation by winning and you can help by packing the stands! If you’ve not got tickets for Saturday afternoon’s game though, you’d better be fast. Just over 100 remain, which can be booked online by CLICKING HERE
