European trip taking in World Heritage city

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

The Saints’ official club supporters trip for the opening European Rugby Champions Cup away game is being based in one of the continent’s most picturesque and historic cities.

Carcassonne, a city famed for its medieval fortress, was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997. With history dating back to the Roman Empire and modern-day traditions of fine wine making, Carcassonne will make for a new and exciting destination for supporters who join the club for the Champions Cup game against Castres in October.

Places remain available for booking on this trip, which includes two and three-night options for four-star accommodation and return flights from London Stansted airport. Also included are all coach transfers in France and a guarantee of best available match tickets for the clash at the Stade Pierre Antoine.

Due to flight prices the Saints can confirm that the two and three-night options outside the city walls are available for the same great price! The two-night option inside the city walls has proven to be popular with supporters and there is now limited availability, so early booking is recommended to avoid any disappointment.

Option 1 Three nights, dep Thurs, Oct 20th and ret Sun, Oct 23rd. Hotel outside city walls. £375 per person

Option 2 Two nights, dep Fri, Oct 21st and ret Sun, Oct 23rd. Hotel outside city walls. £375 per person

Option 3 (limited availability) Two nights, dep Fri, Oct 21st and ret Sun, Oct 23rd. Hotel inside city walls. £425 per person

All options are based on two people sharing.
