As the Aviva Premiership heats up still further every point is becoming increasingly important in every part of the league table.
In the Saints’ chase for the top four they are still well in the mix with nine games to be played, with just eight points separating third-placed Wasps with Gloucester in eighth, with the Saints lying right in the middle of the bunch.
However this weekend’s visitors to Franklin’s Gardens, Worcester Warriors, also have plenty to play for. Although their win over Sale Sharks on Saturday combined with London Irish’s home loss to Exeter to move the Warriors five points clear of the Exiles, they are not out of danger yet at the bottom end of the table, especially with Newcastle also picking up some handy wins.
So every point will matter on Saturday afternoon, and every voice will matter in the stands. Yes, England are playing in the Six Nations, but the Saints is your club and by getting behind the team in the stands you can have a massive and positive impact on the players.
