Premiership Rugby has today announced the 2017/18 Anglo-Welsh Cup schedule which will see Saints face Exeter Chiefs and Dragons first up.
Placed in a pool alongside Saracens, Worcester Warriors and Scarlets for this season's Anglo-Welsh Cup, Saints will be making two away trips, as well as hosting two home matches in the opening four rounds of the competition.
They will not, however, play their Pool 3 compadres, instead facing off with the teams in Pool 2 - Exeter Chiefs, Dragons, Sale Sharks and Harlequins.
An all Aviva Premiership battle is what awaits Saints in the first round, where they will make the trip to current Aviva Premiership Champions Exeter on Saturday, November 4th, before returning to the Gardens to host last weekend's preseason opponents, Dragons, on Saturday, November 11th.
Rounds 3 and 4 hold another home and away game for Saints, with the side first making the trip to Sale Sharks before stepping out on Franklin's turf to host Harlequins. The dates for fixtures in round 3 and 4 will be confirmed immediately after round 2.
Neither of Saints' opening two Anglo-Welsh Cup games are being broadcast by BT Sport, so the only way to see Saints' progress in the competition and guarantee your way into all Saints' home Anglo-Welsh Cup fixtures this year is with a Season Ticket, which also guarantees the lowest pro-rata price per game – no club ticket offers will undercut what you will pay as a Season Ticket Holder – as well as plenty of other benefits.
