This week sees the finale of several weeks of competition as the Elite Insurance Schools Sevens heads to Franklin’s Gardens for Finals Day!
Ten of the best Under-13 schools Rugby Sevens teams from across the East of England will compete for the right to take home the silverware, following in the footsteps of two-time winners Northampton School for Boys and reigning champions The Perse School.
All of the teams have earned their place at Finals Day by finishing in the top two places at their respective regional tournament:

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE Wellingborough School; Northampton School for Boys
BEDFORDSHIRE Holywell School; Marston Vale School
OXFORDSHIRE KES Stratford; Royal Latin School
MILTON KEYNES Aylesbury Grammar School; Walton High
Since its inception in 2013 the Elite Insurance Sevens Series has grown rapidly, from four regional tournaments and a dozen schools in its first year to six regional tournaments and over 80 schools in 2015.
The Elite Insurance Sevens Series is just one of a wide range of age group tournaments organised by Northampton Saints. Over the course of a season thousands of young rugby players in age groups ranging from Under-7s to Under-16s descend on Franklin’s Gardens on first team match days, with trophies and medals handed out on the main pitch during the half-time interval of that day’s Saints game.
