The quintet make the Saints the best represented side in the starting XV for the second autumn international, while a sixth, Alex Corbisiero, has recovered from a knee injury to take his place in the matchday 23. Joe Marler gets the nod on the loose head to start though in an entirely changed front row along with Hartley and David Wilson.
Foden’s inclusion on the wing in a back three with Mike Brown and Chris Ashton is the only other change to the side that came back to beat Australia 20-13 last weekend.
“Ben Foden gets his chance with Alex Goode on the bench,” head coach Stuart Lancaster said. “Ben has had a full week's training on the wing, he is a great finisher and in form so it's a great option for us.
“The Twickenham crowd was superb against Australia and we were pleased to get the victory but we know there’s more to come from this team and we are looking forward to building on that momentum for this weekend.”
The 2:30pm kick off marks the start of an afternoon of double rugby at Franklin’s Gardens, with the game being shown live around the ground before the LV= Cup opener with Gloucester – a game that is selling fast!
