Front Mo Union gathering pace at the Gardens

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

This season the entire playing staff are involved and part of the ‘Front Mo Union’ which currently sits third on the UK Movember list of fundraisers at present!

Skipper Hartley, who is currently away with England, added hundreds of pounds to that total last weekend when he auctioned off match-worn kit from the win over Australia and explained the reasoning behind it being a full Saints effort.

“I think it’s a good idea,” Hartley said. “We’ve got George North who’s down in Wales, a couple of the Samoan lads away and obviously a strong contingent here with England. Then back at the club the LV= Cup begins at the weekend so there’s always something going on.

“The one thing that is going to unite Northampton Saints this November is the Moutsache! Every time we watch each other on TV, or if we are thinking about each other at night we’ll know, ‘he’s got his Mo on’ and he’ll be thinking of me too!”

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of millions of moustaches around the world. With their Mo’s men raise vital funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health. As an independent global charity, Movember’s vision is to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health.
