Premiership Rugby has today confirmed the Saints’ Aviva Premiership fixtures for the Christmas and New Year period, giving supporters plenty of time to make their plans for the festive season!
The Saints will be heading to Reading’s Madejski Stadium to play London Irish at 2:30pm on Boxing Day, which this year falls on a Saturday. Then it is back to Franklin’s Gardens for the visit of Exeter Chiefs, which will kick off at 3pm on Friday, January 1st.
Last, but certainly not least, in this group of three fixture confirmations, is the East Midlands derby at Welford Road, which will kick off at 3:15pm on Saturday, January 9th.
All three of these games will be televised live by BT Sport, who have also announced that both this Friday’s Aviva Premiership opener against Worcester Warriors and the November 7th clash with Saracens will both be shown on BT Sport Showcase, a new channel on Freeview.
Similar to previous years, the European Rugby Champions Cup Round 5 and 6 fixtures against Glasgow Warriors and the Scarlets will not be confirmed until Round 4 has been completed.
