The Black, Green and Golden Age Exhibition

Foundation to showcase Saints’ history with matchday Heritage Exhibition

Northampton Saints supporters will have the chance to step deeper into the Club’s rich and storied past this weekend, as Northampton Saints Foundation hosts a special exhibition in the Rodber Bar during the Investec Champions Cup match against Scarlets.

The display on Sunday 18 January has been created by the Foundation’s dedicated Heritage Team – a small but passionate group committed to safeguarding, celebrating, and sharing the history that has shaped Northampton Saints for more than 145 years.

Their work plays a vital role not only in preserving the Club’s identity, but also in ensuring that future generations can connect with the people, moments, and traditions that make Saints so special.

The exhibition offers supporters an exclusive glimpse into that ongoing work. Fans visiting the Rodber Bar at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens will be able to view a curated selection of historic items from the Club’s archive, including memorabilia, photographs, and materials from recent heritage projects. Each piece tells a story of Saints’ evolution – from its community roots to becoming one of European rugby’s most respected clubs.

But the exhibition is about more than looking back; it’s also an invitation to get involved.

Whether you’re interested in volunteering with the Heritage Team, donating items from your own collection, or discussing a personal connection to Saints’ history, the Foundation will be on hand throughout matchday to talk, listen, and help supporters register their interest. The team are always keen to uncover new stories, expand the archive, and bring supporters even closer to the Club’s legacy.

Visitors can also learn more about the Foundation’s future plans, including upcoming events, exhibitions, and heritage-driven projects. With the Club’s history continuing to grow season after season, there has never been a better time to discover how you can play a part in shaping – and celebrating – Saints' story.

The Rodber Bar-based exhibition will be open to supporters before kick‑off (3.15pm) or at half‑time this Sunday.
