Kieran Brookes has been chosen by Northampton Saints supporters as their Steffans Player of the Month for November.
The England tight-head has received plenty of plaudits from supporters, players and the media alike for the impact he has had in his first few weeks at Franklin’s Gardens. As well as anchoring the scrum in one dominant performance after another, Brookes received the individual accolade as the man of the match in the European Rugby Champions Cup win over Glasgow.
Brookes is joined in November’s honours list by Ethan Waller, who has been named the TW Steel Clubman of the Month for his work in the community over the past few weeks.
“Ethan has done a massive amount of unseen work in the community over the past few weeks, a lot of which has been outside his club commitments,” said director of rugby Jim Mallinder. “He certainly deserves to be named the Clubman of the Month.”
The club also announced that Jessica Smith has had her name pulled out of the hat from the hundreds of supporters who voted to win a £50 voucher for Steffans Northampton.
