North moved to Northampton in 2013 and says the reception and welcome he has received from the Saints faithful has blown him away.
“My first Aviva Premiership Rugby match was at the Gardens and I think we were playing the Exeter Chiefs. We won that game which was great for our home record,” he said.
“The Gardens is an amazing place to go, we're sold out week-in-week out - it's awesome, the atmosphere is great - and the fans have been great to me from the start.
“For me it's about the atmosphere, getting down and watching a good game of rugby but also meeting new people, becoming friends and having a common interest that is Aviva Premiership rugby.
“You get to be involved with the Northampton Saints and also to help build that feel good factor around the club.”

North's interview was part of a new campaign from Premiership Rugby and Aviva to welcome new supporters to Aviva Premiership Rugby this season.
North is one of 12 club ambassadors who are backing the 'Aviva Premiership Rugby First Timers' campaign.
And North, who is hoping new supporters will come down and sample life at Northampton this season, admits he can still remember his first experience of watching rugby.
“The first game of rugby I have ever went to watch was Wales against Romania in Wrexham,” he added. “I went with my family and friends, I can't remember the score but I know that we won the game.
“Seeing that passion and support was so inspiring and it's the same in the Aviva Premiership Rugby.”
