The Saints’ management is asking all supporters who are attending tomorrow’s game against London Irish to be in their seats or terrace spaces no later than 2:30pm.

To mark the formal opening of the new Barwell Stand 20 of the club’s former players – who between them played over 5,000 times for the first team – will be introduced to the crowd at 2:40pm, which will in turn be followed by the ribbon cutting itself and a fireworks display shortly after 2:50pm.

The bars and Match Day Village will be open from 12noon, with the stadium itself open from 1pm. Supporters should note that the Members Bar will not be open to the public until 1pm.

Half-time will include a special video paying tribute to the Barwells and a performance from the 100-strong rock choir, as well as the presentations to the winning teams from the morning’s Under-8s tournament.

Post-match will feature live music from The Rocketeers in the Rodber Suite, while the Six Nations clash between Wales and Scotland will be on the big screens. Match commentary will only be available in Heroes and the Members Bar.

Car parking opens at 9am; the Saints encourages all supporters to use the club’s official car parks on Edgar Mobbs Way, which have traffic management after the final whistle for a smoother journey away from Franklin’s Gardens.

And Season Ticket Holders can save 50 percent on their match day travel on London Midland trains to Northampton from all stations between Leighton Buzzard and Rugby. Just present your Season Card at any manned ticket office to claim the discount!
