Northampton Saints’ players will once again be trading their kicking tees for the little wooden kind this summer, as the Club hosts its annual Golf Day on Wednesday 27 August.
Held at the prestigious Northamptonshire County Golf Club – ranked among the UK’s top 100 courses – the event offers supporters, partners, and local businesses a chance to tee off alongside members of the Saints’ squad and coaching staff. All proceeds from the day will go towards supporting the Saints Academy.
Guests will enjoy a premium golfing experience from start to finish, with the course’s challenging layout and stunning scenery providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable day.
Designed by the renowned Harry S Colt, Northamptonshire County is a par-70 course measuring 6,721 yards. A traditional heathland layout, it winds through undulating woodland, gorse, heather, and fine pine trees. The course offers a memorable challenge for golfers of all levels, and has also played host to Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship in recent years.
The event begins with coffee and bacon rolls from 11.30am, before a 1pm shotgun start. Following the golf, guests will enjoy dinner and a prizegiving ceremony from 6.30pm – all included in the package.
