Northampton Saints return to cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens to kick off their 2025/26 Gallagher PREM season this Sunday (28 September, kick-off: 1pm), with Exeter Chiefs the visitors for the season opener.
Last term it was Saints who ran out 30-24 victors, when tries from Alex Coles, Chunya Munga and Rory Hutchinson were paired with 15 points from Fin Smith’s boot to hand Saints a first home win of the Gallagher PREM term.

+ TICKETS

- If you have purchased match tickets, these are attached to your purchase confirmation email – please ensure you have these either printed on A4 paper, viewable on your smartphone, or added to your smartphone digital wallet before arriving at the stadium. Screenshots of your tickets are not accepted by the scanners on our turnstiles.
- Meanwhile, 2025/26 Season Ticket Holders will be able to access the ground using their Season Ticket cards.
+ 25/26 SEASON TICKETS
- Please note, Season Ticket Holders who have renewed for the upcoming campaign will have had their previous cards re-activated for the new term and need to take no further action. Simply bring your Season Ticket card to Saints vs Exeter and enter the stadium as normal.
- If you have purchased a new Season Ticket for 2025/26 or changed the location of your Season Ticket seat over the summer, your Season Ticket card should have arrived by post already. However, we are aware that some supporters have experienced delays due to ongoing issues with the postal service dated back to 28 August.
- If you have NOT yet received your Season Ticket card, please let us know as soon as possible by filling out the form HERE.
- It is important to note that if you’ve already contacted the Ticket Office via email or phone, no further action is required. Our team will have already actioned your request and they are working hard to ensure you’re ready for the start of the season.
- Re-printed Season Tickets will be available for collection from the Saints Store on Friday and Saturday, as well as before the match from the Ticket Office Collection Window from 10am on matchday.
- If you have received your new 2025/26 Season Ticket already, no further action is required. However, if you have already asked for a reprint from the Ticket Office and your Season Ticket then arrives in the post, please dispose of this as you will still need to collect your reprint.

- Fan-favourtie saxophonist Otis Sax is back at cinch Stadium on Sunday – he’ll be serenading us in the Supporter Village before the match, inside the stadium at half-time and in the Rodber Bar after Saints vs Exeter.
- Join us in the Inclusion Hub on matchday to try your hand at sign-writing, visit our face painters, or have a go at our passing cage.
- See if you can spot the stars of the future on our back pitches, as the Under-11s Defender PREM Rugby Cup kicks off our matchday festivals from 8.30am. The clubs involved will then return for a Parade of Clubs at half-time – give them a wave as they pass you!
- Sunday’s Club of the Match is Diss RFC, they’ll be forming the Guard of Honour as the teams run out.
- Towcestrians RFC will also be bucket shaking around the ground, so please give whatever you can spare!
+ PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY
- With cinch Stadium set to be close to capacity on Sunday, the Club urges supporters to arrive as early as possible to avoid queues.
- This weekend’s clash at the Gardens is set to be busy, so please make sure you give yourself enough time to get to the ground and into your seat or place on the Terrace.
+ FOOD & DRINK
- A wide selection of bars and food stalls are open within the Village and stadium throughout matchday – please see the map above for full details of all the Food & Drink outlets around the Stadium.
- Food offerings can be found across the stadium bars as well – with pies, sausage rolls and pork baps available in Rodber Bar and loaded fries, loaded dogs, pies, sausage rolls and pork baps also available in Members Bar.
- Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are all available around the ground.
- Please be aware that cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a cashless stadium; all bars and food outlets will only accept card payments.
- There will be a staggered bar closure around the stadium, ending in the Rodber Bar at 3.45pm.
+ MATCHDAY PROGRAMME
- Northampton Saints’ matchday programme is available to all supporters, free of charge, via a digital-only format.
- Containing exclusive interviews and features with Saints’ first-team squad, all the latest news from around the Gardens, as well as online games, statistics and team line-ups for the match, Saints’ matchday programme is not to be missed.
- Scannable QR codes will also be situated around the Gardens so supporters can open and read the programme on their mobile devices on matchday.
- From 4pm on Friday 26 September, the matchday programme for Saints vs Exeter will be available to view HERE.
+ ECOCUPS – PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM HOME
- Last season, Northampton Saints made an adjustment to how EcoCups are used and returned around cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens. The Club is no longer be charging a £1 deposit fee for EcoCups, having listened to supporter feedback.
- EcoCups can still be returned directly to bars or to dedicated EcoCup return bins located around cinch Stadium, with no refund now required on the cups.
- The Club asks that supporters do not collect these cups to take home, but rather return them to the bars or one of the dedicated return bins around the stadium.
- With EcoCup refunds no longer available to donate to Northampton Saints Foundation on matchdays, the Club have introduced an alternative; ‘One for the Foundation’ – with £1 being added to their order total and donated straight to the Club’s charity.
- QR codes will also be scannable within the stadium so supporters can donate directly to the Foundation via their mobile devices.
+ NORTHAMPTON SAINTS FOUNDATION

+ CAR PARKING
- Car Parking (in Claret Car Park, NN5 5JT) will be available for £8.50 on the day via contactless payment upon arrival. Car parking tickets are not available to purchase in advance. Car Parks open at 10am, with the stadium opening its gates at 11am.
- Please note, West Northants Council have taken ownership of the Claret Car Park over the summer. At the moment, this won’t change Saints supporters’ use of the car park on matchdays, but the Club will provide any further updates when we are able.
- Seasonal car passes valid for the 2025/26 season will be accepted in the Club’s car parks for this match.
- Please also be aware that there will be no movement in the VIP Car Park from ten minutes before the full-time whistle for approximately 25 minutes. As usual, traffic management will be in place in Car Park D, Claret Car Park and on Edgar Mobbs Way.
- For the 2025/26 season, supporters will also have access to use Northampton Town FC’s West Car Park (NN5...) on Saints matchdays that do not clash with Cobblers’ games. Parking in this car park will be managed by Cobblers and is priced at £5 on the day via contactless payments upon arrival. Please note, Saints’ seasonal car parking passes are not valid for this Car Park.
- After the Car Parks close at 8pm on Sunday , there will be no access to any vehicle left behind until Monday morning.
- Given that cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens sits in a residential area of the town, Saints strongly urge all supporters to use the Club’s car parks. Should they choose not to do so, supporters must park with due care and respect for the needs of local residents and businesses.
+ TRAVELLING TO THE MATCH
- Please note, that West Northants Council have informed the Club that Mereway will be closed from Saturday evening until Sunday afternoon due repairs following a gas leak – so please consider your travel arrangements if you are travelling from that area of Northampton.
- Consider using public transport to get to Saints vs Exeter this Sunday, with Stagecoach offering Northampton supporters special deals on bus travel across the town.
- As is standard outside of Saints’ matchdays, groups up to five people can travel on any Stagecoach bus on a Saturday or Sunday for just £6 for a whole day within the Northampton area.
- Meanwhile on Northampton game days, Saints Season Ticket Holders can get a return ticket for travel anywhere within the Northampton area for just £5.
+ SMOKING
- cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a NO SMOKING stadium. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere in the stadium or Supporter Village pre, during or post-match.
- Supporters wishing to smoke will be allowed to exit the stadium during half-time to use one of the designated smoking areas outside Gates 1, 2, 3 and 4 – stewards will be on hand to direct you and will manage exit and re-entry into the stadium.
+ SUPPORTER CHARTER
- Northampton Saints asks all supporters attending Saints vs Exeter to familiarise themselves with the Club’s Supporter Charter.
- Whether it’s your first time coming to a match at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens or you’re a seasoned supporter, please also take a minute to read our Ground Regulations – which include information on what you can and cannot bring into the stadium.
+ OTHER IMPORTANT INFO
- As the teams run out onto the pitch on Sunday, there will be a pyrotechnic display in front of the East Stand – please be advised this may include a series of loud bangs/crackles.
- The Club requests that supporters refrain from standing at the side of the pitch to watch the warm-up to prevent congestion. Please watch the warm-up from your seat.
- As cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a front-loading stadium, Northampton Saints asks supporters to avoid moving around the stadium while the match is in play to avoid blocking the view of your fellow supporters. Please note, you may be held back from returning to your seat by our stewards until there is a break in play.
