Fullback Harry Mallinder has been named Michael Jones Jewellers Player of the Month for February, after claiming just under half of the votes submitted by the Club’s supporters.
The 23-year-old beat fellow nominees Alex Coles, Paul Hill, and Tom Wood to the award after a string of standout performances over the course of the month, which score him score tries against Bristol Bears and Saracens after making his comeback from injury in January.
Mallinder will be presented with his prize, provided by Michael Jones Jewellers, at Northampton Saints’ home clash against Wasps – which falls on Saturday 21 March (kick-off 3pm).
Saints and Michael Jones have once again joined forces this season to offer fans and players alike the chance to win fantastic prizes each month.
Voting will open for March’s award following the Gallagher Premiership showdown at London Irish on March 28, with Michael Jones also offering a special prize for those that vote – one lucky supporter who votes for their Player of the Month will win a £50 Michael Jones voucher to spend in store.
This month’s winner was Zoe Trotman, who was selected at random out of almost 500 supporters who voted.
