Hewitt: Open communication crucial to positive culture

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

Hundreds of Season Ticket Holders headed to the Rodber Suite to listen to Hewitt present an overall club update, and then discuss a wide range of topics with chief executive Allan Robson, director of rugby Jim Mallinder and commercial director Brian Facer, including managing disabled viewing areas, plastic glasses, Racing Metro tickets, the stadium’s PA system, salary cap, and player retention.

This followed a pie and a pint on the club, with an informal mingling session rounding off the evening.

“I thought it was an excellent engagement with our supporters and we had some good feedback on the issues that have been concerning them,” Hewitt commented. “We take this on board and will continue to try to improve as a club.

“The Season Ticket Holder Forums are all about discussing over a pie and a pint these types of issues with our supporters. Whilst we all rely on social media and email, you can’t beat this face-to-face contact.”

The full interview with Tony Hewitt will be available in this week’s podcast, which will also preview Saturday’s European Rugby Champions Cup trip to Paris. Saints’ podcasts are available for FREE on any device at www.soundcloud.com/official-saints-rugby
