Northampton Saints can confirm that there are just 400 tickets and 22 Champions Suite hospitality covers left for Saints’ Christmas fixture against Exeter Chiefs on Friday 28 December (kick-off 7.45pm).
Last year’s Premiership runners-up arrive at Franklin’s Gardens during the festive season for the second year running vying for a place at the top of the Gallagher Premiership table.
The final fixture of 2018 before the league continues with gusto in the new year, the men in Black, Green and Gold will look to close 2018 with a bang against the much-fancied Chiefs.
Saints came within a whisker of earning their first victory over Exeter since 2016 on the last meeting between the sides down in Devon, when the Chiefs snatched the result with the final play of the game at Sandy Park.
And with limited tickets remaining (starting from £36 adults and £16 juniors), it's set to be a packed-out Franklin's Gardens for this festive fixture and the partisan Northampton crowd could well make the difference for Chris Boyd's men.
It promises to be a massive matchday both on and off the field. Northampton Male Voice Choir will be entertaining the crowd in the Supporter Village and at half time, and pop and rock covers band ‘Dave Spencer’ will kick-off a night a live music in the Rodber Bar after the final whistle.
“We’re relishing the prospect of playing Exeter Chiefs in front of a packed home crowd,” said Saints club co-captain Alex Waller.
“Seeing Franklin’s Gardens packed to the rafters always gives the team a huge boost on matchday and definitely plays an important role in making it a tough place for teams to visit.”
