Kick Smoking Into Touch winners have half-time experience

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

Kick Smoking Into Touch enables young people to make an informed choice about smoking and promotes healthier lifestyles for their parents, too. There are a range of prizes on offer for outstanding students and the programme is supported by visits by Saints players to the schools taking part.

Thirteen youngsters had their posters picked out, and 10 were at Franklin's Gardens last Saturday to be presented to the crowd during the half-time interval of the Saints' Aviva Premiership Rugby win over London Irish and receive prizes from Calum Clark and Mike Haywood.

Special congratulations go to overall winner Katie Turland from Cogenhoe and runners-up Sophie Munns (Park Junior) and Elisha Conway (Earls Barton).

Other winners were Lauren Jackson (Redwell), Akaela McKenzie, Leoni Posher (Spring Lane), James McGowan (Our Lady's), Nathan Lewis (Hunsbury Park), Demi Strachen (Lings), Thomas Drage (Moulton), Lewis Bray (Isham), Conor Phillips (Brixworth) and Sam Jackson (Woollaston).
