Kubota UK, the market-leading machinery manufacturer, has agreed a new partnership with Northampton Saints.
The deal has already seen the Kubota brand be carried on the back of the Saints’ home, away and European shirts in recent weeks, with Kubota machinery also being used by the ground staff at Franklin’s Gardens to maintain the main pitch and training facilities.
“At Franklin’s Gardens we have the highest standards in every area of the organisation, and this especially extends to how we maintain our pitches,” said Saints chief executive Allan Robson. “Having quality training and playing surfaces gives the players and coaches the ability to work well during the week and then play winning rugby at the weekend in front of the thousands in the stadium and many more watching at home.
“Kubota is a world leader in the manufacture of the equipment that we need to maintain and prepare our pitches, and their tractors and vehicles are already being worked hard by our ground staff!”
Dave Roberts, managing director of Kubota UK, is delighted to have partnered with the Saints.
“Northampton Saints is one of the biggest clubs in European rugby and partnering with them is the perfect match for the Kubota brand,” he added. “Northampton Saints’ success over the years has been based on a commitment to excellence and performing to the highest standards, all achieved with a strong focus on teamwork and performance.
“At Kubota UK we share these same values. We have earned a fantastic reputation in our core markets for providing high performance, quality and reliable produces through an excellent independent dealer network, all backed up with first class aftersales support. The partnership is therefore a great fit for our business.”
