Reuben Logan has been named in Kenny Murray’s Scotland Under-20s’ side to take on Ireland Under-20s this weekend, with the Northampton Saints’ back rower starting at No. 8 in the World Rugby U20 Championship warm-up fixture.
The 19-year-old will run out at Ulster Rugby’s Kingspan Stadium tomorrow (Saturday 14 June, kick-off: 1pm), with the friendly fixture marking Scotland’s final outing before their World Rugby U20 Championship opener against Italy on Sunday 29 June.
Scotland head coach Murray said: “We’ve had a wider training group in camps over the last couple of weeks and the players are excited for a tough test.
“Having a game before the Championship gives us a chance to see where we are in terms of preparation and is an important next step for us.
“In the game against Ireland in the Six Nations we conceded four early tries and then came back and played well, but we can’t afford to give teams a head start so we’ll be looking for that 80-minute performance tomorrow and throughout the Championship.”
