Matfield skippers BaaBaas against Pumas

Travis PerkinsSponsored by Travis Perkins

Victor Matfield has been handed the captain’s armband for the Barbarians’ November clash against Argentina this Saturday afternoon.

The South African, who took in his first night at Franklin’s Gardens last Saturday and wore Saints socks in the midweek win over Gloucester, leads a star-studded Barbarians outfit that includes several players who helped New Zealand win the Rugby World Cup just a few weeks ago.

Saturday’s game, which is being broadcast live on Sky Sports 2, celebrates the 125th anniversary of the world-famous invitational team.
