North, who started on the right wing at Twickenham last Saturday, heads back to his more familiar flank as Warren Gatland makes three enforced changes to his back line.
Bristol’s Matthew Morgan comes in at full back, with Alex Cuthbert and Tyler Morgan starting on the right wing and outside centre respectively.
Thursday’s game will be crucial to teams on both sides of the Severn; should Wales lose to Fiji then the hard work of winning at Twickenham will be undone.
England, meanwhile, will be hoping Fiji can do them a favour ahead of the weekend’s match against Australia.
Thursday’s game kicks off at 4:45pm, with live coverage on ITV.
