Saints’ 2023/24 Champions Cup fixtures confirmed

European Professional Club Rugby have today announced the fixtures for the pool stages of this season’s Champions Cup – with Northampton Saints set to take on Glasgow Warriors, RC Toulon, Aviron Bayonnais and Munster Rugby in the competition’s opening rounds.

The Pool stages are split over four weekends where Saints will face all four of the other clubs also placed into Pool 3 during last month’s draw once, either home or away (apart from fellow Gallagher Premiership side Exeter Chiefs).

First up, the men in Black, Green and Gold will make the trip to Scotstoun Stadium for the first time since 2017 – kicking off the tournament’s opening round in Glasgow on Friday 8 December at 8pm.

Phil Dowson’s side then return to Northampton to welcome Toulon – a side they haven’t faced since 2009 – to cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens on Friday 15 December at 8pm, with former Saints Dan Biggar and David Ribbans set to return to the hallowed turf.

After the New Year, Northampton play host to another French side in Bayonne – locking horns with the Top 14 outfit for the first time in the Club’s history on Friday 12 January at 8pm.

And Saints will close out the pool stages on the road as they travel to familiar foes and reigning URC Champions Munster for the second consecutive season on Saturday 20 January at 5.30pm.

The Champions Cup will be played over eight weekends, with the four pool stage matches followed by four knockout rounds, culminating in the London 2024 finals which will be staged at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next May. To view a summary of the new EPCR tournament formats, please CLICK HERE.
