SAINTS 67 TREVISO 0 Italian Job II emphatically done.

Samu Manoa helped himself to a 12-minute hat-trick from the bench, but Kahn Fotuali’i and Ken Pisi scored the picks of the bunch before half-time, the latter going on to match his teammate’s treble four minutes from time.

There were also scores for the returning George North and George Pisi, as well as a penalty try and six conversions as the hosts ran riot in front of a delighted packed house.

Saints were 14 points up even before the quarter, terrorising their visitors through the set-piece as they refused to engage in lineout drives and went back at a rate of knots in the scrum.

And with the pack having driven out a penalty try, North made the most of a mismatch on the left before the champagne rugby started to flow.

Ken’s break sparked a sweeping counter move from inside the Saints' half that went through the hands of James Wilson and George to Fotuali’i, whose stop and go dancing feet made light of the Treviso cover.

Having started the move for the third, Ken would then slide in for the fourth, Tom Stephenson and North making the telling breaks - the latter with a delicate and delightful offload during another stunning counter attack.

The teams would turn around at 24-0 but the interval proved a seamless transition for the Saints and they came back out firing.

George muscled over beside the posts from the first attack of the half and Wilson was again involved with a flying run through a mass of bodies to tee up Ken’s second of the afternoon.

A brief lull in the scoring coincided with mass changes for the hosts but as the hour passed, the men in black, green and gold clicked back into gear and replacement Manoa muscled over with his first carry.

The big Eagle’s next contribution wasn’t too shabby either, taking a pass in midfield and stepping his man before outpacing the cover and striding beneath the posts from some 35 metres.

Wilson’s simple conversion took the tally to a half century before a driving maul finally rumbled over, Manoa in control at the base for his third.

His inside pass next freed Ken to complete his hat-trick and one final, flowing move culminated in Foden strolling up the right touchline to finish the match in style.
