Saints announce ticket details for Amlin Challenge Cup semi-final

Season Ticket Holders have a priority booking period in which to both guarantee their usual seat or terrace space and take advantage of a 50 percent discount on the standard ticket price on every ticket that they book.

This booking period ends at 12noon on Monday, April 14th, at which point all tickets will go on general sale.

Any seat or terrace space not currently taken up by a Season Ticket Holder is currently available for general sale.

This will be the first European semi-final to be held at Franklin’s Gardens since May 2009, and as befits a fixture of this standing it has been classified as a Category A game.

However chief executive Allan Robson explained that the half-price discount on offer is a gesture of thanks from the club to Season Ticket Holders for their unstinting support during the campaign so far.

“Season Ticket Holders have shown tremendous support throughout the season, not just in the Aviva Premiership but in the LV= Cup home semi-final as well,” he said. “We are very aware that having a successful season can put a strain on peoples’ wallets, especially at this time of year.

“This is our second home semi-final of the season, with a home Aviva Premiership play-off very much a possibility, too, and with excellent support and a bit of luck we could also be looking forward to trips to finals in Cardiff and at Twickenham.

“Hopefully as many Season Ticket Holders as possible will take up this offer for what is a big game for us against one of the strongest sides in the country. Every bit of support will help the team as they try to reach another final and we would like to see Franklin’s Gardens packed to the rafters.”

Harlequins are no strangers to success in the Amlin Challenge Cup, having lifted the trophy in 2011. Like the Saints, Harlequins qualified for the quarter finals having finished second in a Heineken Cup pool which included Clermont Auvergne, the Scarlets and Racing Metro. They have a strong European pedigree, not least on the road, having won at Toulouse and Munster in the past couple of seasons and against Stade Francais last Friday night in Paris.
