Brilliant All Black Kieran Read did the same double on a solo level after the public vote and is joined by the Saints pair and three more members of the British and Irish Lions squad that won so impressively in Australia.
The Saints are the only Premiership club represented in the team, while only New Zealand’s Crusaders are home to more of the world’s best, namely Dan Carter, Richie McCaw and IRB World Player of the Year Read.
Prop Corbisiero is also the only Englishman to make the cut, with New Zealanders predictably best represented with a third of the team.
