Northampton Saints will kick-off the brand-new Gallagher PREM season at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, with Exeter Chiefs coming to town to get the 2025/26 campaign underway.
PREM Rugby have today confirmed the date and kick-off times for the first nine rounds of the competition – along with launching their fresh-look brand for the upcoming campaign.
Phil Dowson’s side prepare for a repeat of last season’s opening home clash when they welcome Chiefs in Round 1 on Sunday 28 September (kick-off: 1pm).
Exactly a year prior to this term’s match-up, it was Northampton that ran out 30-24 victors in front of a sell-out cinch Stadium that day – thanks to scores from Alex Coles, Chunya Munga and Rory Hutchinson, as well as 15 points from Fin Smith’s boot.
The men in Black, Green and Gold will be looking to recreate that result on the league’s opening weekend, before Northampton hit the road to take on Gloucester Rugby at Kingsholm on Sunday 5 October (kick-off: 3pm).
Saints supporters will be highlighting Round 3 in their calendars as the ‘Derby Weekend’ makes a return, and sees Northampton host Leicester Tigers on Saturday 11 October (kick-off: 3.05pm) – with the return fixture in Leicester set for the weekend of 8/9/10 May.
Those who follow the men in Black, Green and Gold away from home will also want to make a note of Round 12, where Saints will make the trip to Tottenham Stadium to face Saracens in their showpiece match.
TNT Sports – the home of live televised Gallagher PREM matches – have confirmed their TV picks for the opening nine rounds, with Saints’ matches against Exeter Chiefs (H), Gloucester Rugby (A), Leicester Tigers (H), Saracens (H), Bristol Bears (A), Bath Rugby (A) and Harlequins (H) all in front of the cameras.
The league’s comprehensive coverage also sees all non-TNT Sports matches shown live on discovery+, including Saints’ trip to Newcastle Falcons and the visit of Sale Sharks to cinch Stadium.
