Northampton Saints have been drawn into Pool 4 of the 2025/26 Investec Champions Cup, and will lock horns with Union Bordeaux Bègles, Scarlets, Vodacom Bulls and Section Paloise during the competition’s opening rounds.
The draw – which took place in Dublin earlier today – saw the 24 teams in the Champions Cup drawn into four pools of six teams, with Saints set to head to either France, South Africa or Wales next season. While Bristol Bears have also been drawn into Pool 4, Saints will not face the fellow Gallagher Premiership side.
The men in Black, Green and Gold will look forward to a re-match of last season’s Champions Cup final as they lock horns with the competition’s 2025 winners Bordeaux.
Another match-up with South African side Bulls will also follow for Northampton in Pool 4, while Saints will face Welsh side Scarlets for the first time since 2017 in the competition’s opening rounds.
And Saints’ final opposition in the 2025/26 tournament is a new one for the Club – with a first-ever clash against Section Paloise on the cards.
The 2025/26 Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup tournaments will continue with the same pool stage format as last season and will kick off in December with two consecutive rounds of action, followed by Rounds 3 and 4 on consecutive weekends in January 2026.
EPCR will now begin working on the fixture schedule – exact dates, kick-off times and TV coverage will be announced in the coming weeks.
