Saints quartet victorious over weekend

After a 15-minute delay to kick off, a Moseley side including Will Hooley and Tom Warren made it back-to-back wins as they eased past Ealing at Billesley Common for a maximum. Fly half Hooley found the mark with a conversion in atrocious kicking conditions and was joined on the field by fellow Academy half-back Ryan Glynn in the second half as they closed out a 22-12 Championship win.

On his first weekend with Old Albanians, hooker Reece Marshall also tasted victory, the National League One side putting Coventry away in a comfortable 25-13 triumph in St Albans.

The remaining on-loan trio were left feeling somewhat under the weather, however, Paul Diggin and Sam Harry playing the full 80 of Cambridge’s 19-25 loss at Clifton and Harry Betts also tasting defeat as Chinnor went down 14-31 at Hartpury College – the visiting side down to 12 men at one point after a raft of yellow cards.
